I curently have 2 lifts and decided I was tired of swaping extentions so I bought this one to leave on one lift all the time. It only takes about 3 minites to change so you can change it out as needed. It works just like the normal extention only goes to a 15' height. it dose increse the loading height from the floor, but I find this much prefeable to hang everthing off scafoulding. I hang a lot of sloped cielings and this works great for this also. If you are considering buying one of the knock offs don't bother unless you are going to use it only once.
