Review: Perfect, Sturdy, and Super Convenient Outdoor Hose Reel Setup - I mounted this Primefit hose reel on an old fence post in my driveway, and it installed perfectly. All the hardware lined up, everything tightened down solid, and the reel feels very sturdy and compact. It’s incredibly convenient to have the air hose right outside — I can air up the car tires, blow out the interior, pump up the bikes, and handle small jobs without dragging equipment out of the garage. Some reviewers mentioned it’s not really meant for outdoor use, so I added a small wooden cover above it to protect it from rain. With that simple shelter, I expect it to last a long time. Overall, very happy with the purchase and how well it works. Review: It spins - I like that it can hold a lot. I had an issue where the handle came apart and the spring popped off. Luckily I was able to fix it. ## Features - Fits 100 Feet of 3/8" Air hose, 150 Feet of 1/4" Air Hose, or 50 Feet of 1/2" Air Hose - Heavy Duty Thick Steel Construction - Wall Mountable - 1/4" Female NPT Brass Air Inlet ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08J8HSCQN | | Best Sellers Rank | #96,294 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #39 in Air Tool Hose Reels | | Brand | Primefit | | Brand Name | Primefit | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 713 Reviews | | Included Components | item | | Installation Method | Wall Mount | | Item Diameter | 0.38 inches | | Item Dimensions | 18 x 14 x 17 inches | | Item Weight | 8.5 pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 18 x 14 x 17 inches | | Manufacturer | Primefit | | Manufacturer Part Number | HRM38100 | | Material | Steel | | Material Type | Steel | | Model Number | HRM38100 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Style | Heavy Duty | | Style Name | Heavy Duty | | UPC | 816227019677 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Primefit - **Material:** Steel - **Color:** Black - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 18 x 14 x 17 inches - **Style:** Heavy Duty ## Images ![Primefit HRM38100 Manual Air Hose Reel with 100ft Capacity using 3/8" ID Air Hose - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71K8GHKpYVL.jpg) ![Primefit HRM38100 Manual Air Hose Reel with 100ft Capacity using 3/8" ID Air Hose - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ZVU0xjlLL.jpg) ![Primefit HRM38100 Manual Air Hose Reel with 100ft Capacity using 3/8" ID Air Hose - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81GbMsCSj+L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect, Sturdy, and Super Convenient Outdoor Hose Reel Setup *by I***R on November 16, 2025* I mounted this Primefit hose reel on an old fence post in my driveway, and it installed perfectly. I had an issue where the handle came apart and the spring popped off. Luckily I was able to fix it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon's cheapest air hose reel is decent for what it is *by T***E on April 11, 2026* Amazon's cheapest air hose reel is decent for what it is ...with a couple of caveats. It's simple to put together, which is good, because there are no instructions (I'll come back to that.) It's rugged-ish. It's light weight. And it does it's job keeping your air hoses off the floor (until you get a proper retractable hose reel). I have mine mounted to a wooden step stool (A-ID: B0BNHX3GRX) so it's portable; rather than mounting it to the wall. Just pick-up-and-carry. There are two problems: (1) The are no actual instructions in the instructions, either in the tool's assembly or use; it's all CYA legalese. (2) The stock 90° hose swivel is dangerously cheap, unfit for purpose and should immediately thrown away. (I suggest replacing it with A-ID: B003X417IE or equivalent). ## Frequently Bought Together - Primefit HRM38100 Manual Air Hose Reel with 100ft Capacity using 3/8" ID Air Hose - Goodyear 6' x 3/8" Rubber Whip Hose Yellow 250 PSI - Goodyear 3' x 3/8" Rubber Whip Hose Yellow 250 Psi --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/231857592-primefit-hrm38100-manual-air-hose-reel-with-100ft-capacity-using](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/231857592-primefit-hrm38100-manual-air-hose-reel-with-100ft-capacity-using) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
