I have many years experience installing, Repairing and Replacing outdoor lighting, outlets & wiring them. Most or should I say almost ALL where cheap CRAP that didn't work properly or last up to or over a year without failing in some manor. With that said, I found RAB products here on Amazon. I read ALL the negative reviews, compare to number to the positive and determine if that person has any idea what their talking about, or just opened the box and wrote a review without actually installing it themselves, knowing other brands and see if it passed the true test of time. THEN I pick a product that survives my scrutiny of the reviews.So I purchased RAB components to build a security dusk to dawn duel floodlight over the large garage I have. The old unit was crap & installed by a complete retard. So I had to start by removing EVERYTHING including the connection box and wiring all the way to the breaker box ( Where the idiot that the whole garage could run on 2 20amp circuit breakers... DUH!). Now I'm updating the fuse box, wiring connection boxes, RAB (4 hole) Mounting plate, RAB 2 Flood Light Fixtures and 1 RAB Highly rated Sensor. First thing us installers notice is quality. These parts where impressive! Installation was a breeze, functionality was?is perfect!I was so impressed that over a year of use through earthquakes, rain, hail and power surges that fried almost everything else in the house & garage, The units still look and work great, So I purchased a few more for myself and family members. All of those units are still operating. One thing I did different was to install 25WATT 2500lm PAR38 COB LED floodlight bulbs that have a cool White Color Temperature : 6000K-6500K. This make the lighting not only spread more evenly, looks more like natural daylight and allows you to see further. Its Very impressive, so much so even the local Police stopped by and asked what i used to make such a quality light. Something to note: The COB LED flood lights have a weakly installed base and it was a must to keep ANY moisture out.Well the RAB H101W - 150 Watt Max. - PAR38 - Landscape Lighting - Flood Fixtures have excellent seals and fit (and in my case) fit snugly around the bulbs to help protect them.My suggestion, no matter what bulbs you use, is to coat the rubber gasket & socket area with dielectric grease. This will not only aid in sealing, but will prevent the bulb from seizing and possibly breaking off at the base when attempting to replace the bulb(s).YES I Highly recommend ANY RAB Products and will continue to purchase nothing but RAB products, because there is nothing like doing the job TWICE because you skimped the first time.

Like a reviewer above, I got sick of cheap, plastic components and lights that don't work. I couldn't find a dawn-to-dusk set of flood lights for a high second floor fixture (motion sensing won't work that high), so I bought these housings, a base and a photo-cell detector and wired it myself based on a diagram I found on google images (simple). I put it up on a 1-story high fixture first to make sure it works well and I'll have it installed on the 2nd story by someone who is better on ladders than I am. :DThese are chunky metal fixtures with an oversized housing, so the bulbs are well protected. Because my light will be very high, I bought some cool LED lights, so they should last a good long time. The mounting hardware was solid and well made. A+ work.

With the Rab Stealth 360, there's another threaded hole with that item. Normally, with a two socket Par Flood fixture, you can have a "dead" spot in the center. So, I bought this, wired it in with the other two from the Stealth 360 and now I have a wicked-cool three light security light. Floods the whole yard.Cons: Pricey for a piece of metal.

I’m an electrical contractor and I can honestly say RAB makes great outdoor products! This unit comes with a rubber boot on the socket to keep water and bugs out. Great idea!

Nobody makes quality lighting better than RAB. Sorry they are now made in China, but they seem to be controlling quality even in that terrible place. Works exactly as described and expected.

High quality even finish, easy to install and adjust. A nice upgrade from the lamp holders that were previously installed on our outdoor lighting.
