The Yale 1109 Series Replacement Rim cylinders are for use with surface mounted locks, such as nightlatches.The locks are used to provide key access from one side of the door and they are suitable for doors with a thickness of 38 to 57 mm. The tail bar of the cylinder can be cut to suit the thickness of the door.It provides standard level of security for your house. Each lock comes with six Yale keys and additional key replacements can be ordered from a locksmith. All fittings supplied. Simple, effective product that anybody can install giving you an additional level of security for the utmost peace of mind.

Review: Nice enough lock, can't get key blanks in the U.S. - The lock itself is nice and installed well in my application. The lock works smoothly and meets all expectations. The only downside is that I need more than the six keys that came with it and I cannot seem to get blanks for this lock in the U.S. I've tried ordering from several UK based lock sites and the site either won't give me a price on shipping, or the site just won't work. If you don't need more than the six keys that come with it, or if you're located in the UK then you're good to go.

The lock itself is nice and installed well in my application. The lock works smoothly and meets all expectations. The only downside is that I need more than the six keys that came with it and I cannot seem to get blanks for this lock in the U.S. I've tried ordering from several UK based lock sites and the site either won't give me a price on shipping, or the site just won't work. If you don't need more than the six keys that come with it, or if you're located in the UK then you're good to go.

Dont buy this if you live in the USA, I have spent hours searching for key blanks in the US and you cant get them. I have contacted the UK where the lock comes from and they will not send me blank keys to the US.
