They're made in two separate layers, which gives them a softer feel, and a bit more give between the wrap type layer and the inner layer. They're very grippy and sticky when they're fresh. I've played 2 rounds so far, and I like them. They seem to perform fairly well even when my hands are sweaty. I also like the price... They're less expensive than other premium grips. The one complaint I have so far is installation. Because the inner layer is fairly rigid it can be difficult to put these on with solvent alone. I ended up switching to using a compressor to put these on, with a little bit of solvent in the grip to soften it up. The first couple of attempts I had with just solvent, which is how I've always done grips, got stuck about halfway down... So beware... Probably just use air to do it. Soft also means they wear faster than the standard grip - I played maybe 6-7 rounds with them and the driver grip is starting to wear in spots that experience the most pressure/friction.
