Bellroy City Pouch Premium (leather cross-body bag, e-reader or small tablet, wallet, sunglasses, phone) - Black Sand

I bought this bag when I was mugged walking down an urban street. My big, expensive shoulder bag made me way too easy a mark. I learned my lesson. I bought this bag thinking I could wear it under my jacket, but no bag is slim enough to fully disappear under your clothes. So I wear it across my body over my jacket, and it feels as snug as a bug in a rug. I downsized everything that goes in my purse from my wallet to my phone charger to carrying travel-size cosmetics, and EVERYthing I like to carry fits in the bag. I also love the way it looks, though it's not the most feminine bag out there. It's more genderless, which I love, and which works well here in northern California. I love that the front panel is mostly leather, and that the whole thing has a sophisticated, designerly look. It's easy to organize my stuff on the inside; the sections are in two different colors, so it's also easy to find what I need. Again, really thoughtful design. My one wish is that the white strap were somehow less vulnerable to getting dirty. But it's been 6 months and only now am I thinking I'll have to wash it with soapy water. And, given that it's nylon, I'm sure washing it will be quick and painless and it'll dry in a flash. Again, I LOVE this bag!

Got these for when I can't wear a jacket or hoodie. They make stowing and retrieving my phone easy along with giving extra space for small items like lip balm. The construction is very nice and has a unisex look. Only one side has leather, but that works better as having it on both sides would cause the leather to age unevenly. I say that as the leather they use is very soft and definitely not something you expect to stand up to heavy wear. The strap is a sturdy, natural material that doesn't chaff or cause discomfort. I bring this with me to most urban outings now (like a day trip to San Francisco)

This bag is highly underrated. It’s a fantastic size - not super large, easy to maneuver. It’s just right for fitting A5 and A6 sized notebooks, batteries, pens, large phones, anything that’s kind of a flatter form. If you don’t carry stuff like that you might find the shape to be unhelpful. The reason I have taken it down a star is that in an absolutely baffling move, the bag is about half an inch too short to store an iPad mini inside its padded sleeve. I mean it is SO close, would it have killed them to add an extra half an inch? And then, to add insult to injury, the back side slip pocket has been stitched so that it’s actually significantly smaller than the width of the bag - so you can’t even fit your iPad on the outside either. I kind of understand that decision because it makes it so any phone you put there will remain upright but frankly I can’t imagine it being so annoying for your phone to get tilted when the compromise is so steep. It would be hands down one of the best bags available if you could just fit a mini in it.

Got this for my wife because she only likes bringing a few things with her at a time. Loves it! The quality of the materials is wonderful and I really cannot think of a negative aspect of this bag. Definitely not for someone who wants to pack a lot with them, but if you’re a minimalist, or just want to go out for the evening, this bag will take care of the job.

I love this pouch! I use it in place of a purse. It’s light, can be worn under or over a jacket, and has a surprising amount of room. I love know where everything is and not having to dig around for things in a purse. Efficient, well made, and good looking.

Perfect bag except I did not like the white strap. Would be better if they offered a black strap.

Die Tasche ist leider schön überfüllt, wenn man nur wenige Gegenstände mit sich tragen möchte, zB Smartphone, Geldbörse, eine Packung Taschentücher, Schlüsselbund. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt meiner Meinung nach auch nicht ganz. Es ist eine einfache kleine Textiltasche mit Lederfront.

Although I loved it, the strap turned out to be the weak link, wearing through completely within a year. Because it is sewn into the body, it will be difficult to salvage the bag, now that the strap is broken. Extremely durable, my one ☝️ regret is that the strap has discoloured and has not been as resistant to wear as the rest of the bag after 1 season of use. I agree with the other reviewers regarding the poor choice of white for the strap colour. Still I would buy it again for the clever organization and the otherwise robust materials

製品の布や革の質感は良いです。でもこれでこの価格は高いと感じます。 バッグの厚みですが、向かって左側の上の部分だけが7cmですが、 他の部分(右側、底）の部分は3cmほどしか奥行きが出ません。 宣伝通りに小物を沢山入れると取り出しにくいでしょう、それにベルトが肩に食い込みます。 おまけにバッグの革の部分の上に、ショルダーベルトを乗せて梱包しているので、 革の部分にしっかりベルト跡が残り、大きな汚いシワが取れません。

At the time I purchased this, the description suggested that I could fit an e-reader, cell phone, sunglasses and wallet. Good luck with that. Once the cell phone and ereader are in there - you cannot even fit clip ons let alone anything else. It's OK, if you only want to take your phone, a tiny bit of cash (a credit card minus wallet) and some very small (like clip ons) sunglasses - it does not "expand" to any noticible degree. The zipper on the outside zippered area is not that friendly to use. The quality of the material doesn't justify the price either - I expected better.
