I have been interested in this type of knife for a long time and am so glad I found a great price and went ahead and bought it. I've used it a few times already and absolutely love everything about it. I love the balance, the full tang, the weight, how easily it slices, chops, cuts, everything. It is the sharpest knife I've ever purchased and am very happy with it.

A extremely nice big knife. Nothing like cutting up a big piece of meat for friends and family and using a knife like this makes it better. Great value for your money. Cuts well and comes wicked sharp.

This is a good knife and came with good sharpness. One can hone it further to obtain an even sharper edge. Like other reviewers, I don't like the knife being painted black especially when I don't know what kind of paint was used. However, I liked the knife enough to take time (about 1/2 hour) to sand the paint off. Then used a wire brush with a drill and finally a Dremel to take 99% of the paint off. Then I protect it with a coat of mineral oil. I now have a fine knife for $32. Time will tell if this will hold its edge since I have no way of testing its hardness whether it has the claimed HRC 62. The box that it came in is nice but mine did not survive the transport. The leather holster is cheaply made but consider it as a freebie. Overall I am happy with the knife.

Purchased this knife for valentines day for my husband since he collects quality meat cutting knifes. He smokes alot of different meats so he loves to have quality sharp knives to cut through the meats he has smoked. This knife is extremely sharp!!! Be careful while your washing it cause one slip and you might need stitches it's so sharp. Beautiful quality knife as well. Always dry completely after washing and take some cooking oil or food grade oil to give the knife a good coat before putting back in the sheath so it doesn't rust. I learned this with the other knives he has purchased with the same finish/hammered look. Sheath it comes with is thick and very nice looking. Definitely would recommend this knife to anyone's collection that loves to cook. It cuts through meat and bones like butter! Definitely will be ordering more from this company

First, understand that this is not stainless steel. It must be hand washed and dried.I have a rule. If it can't go through my dishwasher, it gets kicked off the island. I made exception this time and I do not regret it.This knife arrived paper slitting sharp. I expected to finish it myself but no, it was hella sharp. The handle is pretty wood and a decent fit. I did take some super fine sandpaper and polish some of it out but that's because I like to play with knives. Overall the fit and finish was 95%.Keep in mind this is a thirty dollar knife. It is easy to sharpen and easy to dull. If you use the knife much you will sharpen it a lot. I bought one design and then ordered three of the other design as gifts. The leather scabbards are good quality.

My Mom is a very active cook & has complained about knives of all brands for years — she has loved this & has no complaints so far (it’s been a year). It looks intimidating but it has helped with her wrist pain & ease of food prep.

I cut through a roast like butter! The is great quality very durable and well made!
