Let me start by saying that I only like writing with gel pens. I had been using Uniball, which by the way is NOT the best gel pen out there. I had bought a ton of Uniball retractable pens for my school work and they would almost never write smoothly. Frustrated me to no end. Then I remembered how much I used to like the mechanical pencils Pentel made and I thought I should try their pens. It was the best decision of my life (slight exaggeration). Not only am I hooked on them but my husband is soooo addicted to them that I can never find mine because he steals them all the time. It's actually gotten pretty bad and most of the time now I'm forced to write with some no-name ball point reject that's lying around the house. Everyone who uses this pen for even a minute is in love and asks me "OMG where did you get this pen from?". Of course, I say Amazon because I have actually checked the regular stores like Office Max and Walmart and they just don't have them. I know it seems crazy to get so excited about a pen that looks like any other gel pen but it really is not like any other gel pen I've ever used. To quote my husband: "It's actually a pleasurable experience writing with this pen." I couldn't agree more.

These pens have a very good flow to them when writing. Ink dries quick and the blue is a nice vibrant color. Love that it’s a cap pen and you can place it in your pocket without worrying that it will click open and leak.

I rarely write reviews, but I had to for these wonderful pens! Writing with them is SO easy- never have to worry about pressing hard or shaking the pen for the ink to come out. It is smooth as can be. I write a lot so it makes a huge difference to have a pen that I can work with. These are, hands down, my favorite pens. They dry SUPER quickly too so there are never any smudges. I thought at first- well I'm not going to pay 2.50 per pen- that's just silly. But I did, best decision ever. SO worth the money!!

I love these pens. The smoothness of the writing makes it a pleasure to write. I like to write by hand, my thoughts flow better than when I sit at the computer and these pens allow me to write for long periods of time in complete comfort.

I'm a lefty so I've got to be picky with my writing instruments or I end up with black on the side of my hand. These aren't insta-dry, so I do still get a little color, but it's nothing compared to ball-point. The ink lays down easy and they last a while (I know because I use them to the bitter end). I use them for general purpose writing on thank you notes, paper, and card stock, not art. I won't ever use another pen! They can be pricey but they're worth it.

Nice pens that are ergonomically correct. Only wish they lasted longer.

Not sure if its because I'm a lefty or what, but this is the best pen. I never smear it and it writes so flawlessly. No matter what kind of paper -- some gel pens skip on certain types of notebook paper -- this one never does. When I had to hand write out 10 page reports on the fly cuz the bootleg job wouldn't invest in laptops, this was the only pen that did not cause my hand to lock up and feel like I might be developing carpel tunnel in the fingers. ??? And, it never bleeds through -- you can use both sides of the paper. Don't know why the price has gone up so high and why they are so difficult to find now, but I do have a limit to what I'll pay for pens and at this rate, they may be pricing themselves out of my orbit. Hope not.

Hace años que compro esta marca con el modelo anterior. Ahora son un poco diferentes pero la calidad es la misma; duran mucho y me gusta cómo se deslizan sobre el papel casi sin esfuerzo, y no dejan de escribir como otras plumas de gel. Muy buen compra.

I have been using this Pentel Gel pen for several years. Great quality, nice grip and easy to write with it.
