What is the cadmium and lead content of your dark chocolates?

To ensure food safety, Bouchard follows strict industry standards, including HACCP guidelines, and has implemented its own surveillance program to periodically screen raw materials and finished products for heavy metals, including Lead and Cadmium. Our suppliers are required to certify that they adhere to the same requirements. Based on laboratory results, Bouchard confirms that its dark and milk chocolate Napolitains are in compliance with the regulatory requirements of EU food safety standards as well as U.S. FDA guidelines and California Proposition 65 requirements. Recent lab results have all been below 0.06 PPM (parts per million), well below all thresholds.

I haven’t counted how many are in the bag. However each chocolate is approximately 1 1/4 inches long by 3/4 of an inch wide and 1/8 of an inch thick. I would guess 60 to 70 in a bag

Delicious, and good for you! My wife and I found that dark chocolate was recommended for improving our health conditions, and these were the best-tasting and lowest-priced we could find. We keep them on our kitchen counter, and usually have 2 pieces in the morning or afternoon to get the health benefits.

A step of from name brand "dark chocolate".

These are more expensive than Dove or other store brand dark chocolate, but I think this tastes better and is truer to dark chocolate. No added flavors for starters, and not that extra softness that doesn't equal dark chocolate to me. My only complaint is the lack of cocoa butter, and low-fat cocoa used. Maybe they have a full-fat version, idk.P.S. Maybe the first ingredient of "Unsweetened chocolate" contains the cocoa butter; I'm just used to seeing it listed separately.

Delicious!

This chocolate has only four ingredients and it is delicious. I usually prefer milk chocolate, but this must be the best dark chocolate I have ever tasted. Also, I love that each piece is individually wrapped so the chocolate stays fresh a long time. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it.
