Love my countdown clock. Very easy to set up. Clear read out. I have mine on my work desk counting down my days to retirement. You can use this to countdown for holidays birthdays Christmas really anything. Please with my choice.

This does NOT do what it says on the Tin - Most likely because it arrived packaged in a cardboard box.As a Countdown timer this device does rather well however because that is exactly what it does, count down time. I found it rather helpful that on the box it had written in BIG RED letters COUNTDOWN TIMER. It really made the choice to buy an easy one as this was precisely what I was looking to purchase.Having taken it from the box I found it to be a large LCD Digital Device that has both the function of Clock and a Countdown Timer. Wow! I really wasn't expecting the clock portion of the display this has to be counted (get the pun?) as a digital bonus that is sure to add value to the usefulness of this product. Imagine me looking at the counting down timer and also flicking between the clock all in the one slick flick of an eye? Information overload! Have I over-reached here? Only 'time' will tell.So. Let's take some time to tell you about the device. Is it useful? Yes. But only if you want it to count down time. (but don't forget the clock).Is the clock useful? Yes. But it also has the addition of the count-down timer!Is it easy to set up? Yes.Is the device well-made? I don't know because I never had the chance to oversee its construction? But it does feel like a plastic product made of plastic. I have never studied grades of plastic and their relative gradings on a quality index, but I will hazard a guess that this grade passes most.Does it stick to my fridge with its in built magnets? Yes! And that's where it will live in it's singularly focussed mission of counting down till the Family Holiday in 111 days 21 hours 38 Mins 56 Secs . . .Will this device change my life? Yes it will . . . in 111 days 21 hours 38 Mins 43 Secs . . .Once my holiday countdown has elapsed, I will update this review to include anything that happened on the road to zero. If all is well. I may use it to countdown other things. There is so much promise in the air. I feel somehow - changed and renewed.Looking for a Countdown Timer? This may be the device that you are looking for. If you are looking for a countdown timer with a clock in the same display - walk away, very quickly.:)UPDATE:So. I promised an update to my review. Well nothing major happened while it was counting down time, which is pretty cool bearing in mind that this countdown timer counted down the time to our family holiday, as I was suspecting it would, and it did it without fault or pause for the whole 111 days 21 hours 38 Mins 56 Secs . . . major win win win.It's on another mission now . . . Only 58 days. 23 Hours. 33 mins 20 seconds to got till . . . our next family holiday. Tic tock tock tic . . .Buy this device. It will change your life! (but only if you have OCD counting down issues).:)

Nothing is more important in our family than the next holiday so I got this when we got back from our last trip and set it up to countdown to our next! A great bit of fun for the family who check in periodically and get excited as the date approaches. My only gripe is that I think it may drain the batteries quite quickly hbut then again I loaded it with batteries from our “battery box” so some of them may not have been brand new …!)

Now we know the precise answer. Easy to set up and use.

Don’t buy, literally worked for four months then screen failed.

Works well, slim, nice discreet look, cheap, good magnet

Used as a retirement countdown. Good talking point in office. Recommended.
