This carrier is GREAT!
I purchased this for my Jack Russell puppy, he is now full grown 20 lbs and has plenty of room still! He’s a wild one and likes to flip, flip and dig and this thing has held up wonderfully! He also likes to sit on the top and while it’s not made for that and isn’t that structured it doesn’t collapse when he gets on top. It is super easy to use and put together/collapse down and easily portable from car to car or even using in the house to lounge in. I love that it opens on both ends and on the front, so no matter where you use it in the vehicle it’s easy to access your furry baby. I have a Jeep Wrangler and it fits just find in the back seat and snuggly in the front seat, my college kid has a Subaru crosstrek and it fits in either front or back easily and my Ford truck it fits easily in front or back. I like that you attach with the seat belt through the back of the carrier and it can be tightened down, plus it has the loop at the top to attach around the head rest for extra support. It is sturdy and worth the price paid. Also the little “pad” that came with it, is pretty decent and can easily be washed in the washing machine if it gets dirty.

Worked great for my cat on a road trip
The reviews were good for this carrier so I decided to give it a try for a road trip with my cat Arnie. Given the COVID-19 spread this year, I was anxious to get home to Colorado to see my folks but didn't want to put them at risk by flying. Having made the drive from California to Colorado many times before, I decided to rent a small SUV and pack up my cat and a few weeks of clothes and items and hit the road with Arnie! He of course hates the small carrier we use to take him to the vet, etc, but once I got him to the car, he would usually hop right in and settle in for the drive.I put the carrier in the rear passenger-side seat, and I opted for the medium size to give him plenty of room. As you can see in the picture, there is enough room in the medium for a much larger dog or a few smaller pets probably if they got along. Arnie is just shy of 12 lbs to give an idea on his size of cat. Not giant but not tiny. The carrier IS rather large as you can see so it's worth noting the dimensions before making your purchase. It fit great in the back of my rented Chevy Equinox but as you can see in the photo, it took the entire passenger-side rear seat, along with about half of the rear-seat passthrough/arm rest area. I was traveling alone with Arnie so I didn't need any space for additional passengers in the rear, but if I did you would've only been able to fit one, and an adult may have felt a bit cramped by the carrier. I have a feeling the carrier would've taken up 2/3 of the back seat of my girlfriend's Hyundai Elantra prob as well, so worth noting for smaller cars if you opt for the medium size. .The carrier has a mesh construction around most of it, which is good because it allows for lots of air flow and visibility (both for his sake and mine to check on him). We were also driving though lots of 100+ degree zones on our drive, so this construction allowed for the rear AC unit to make it right in there to keep him cool. There are zip flaps on both sides of this carrier, which make it easy to transfer the pet into the carrier, though I found it was easiest to do from the driver-side, where i could use the space provided on the vacant seat to maneuver him into the carrier. There is also a large zip flap on the front of the carrier which I was able to use to provide water, treats, or even give him some pets from the front seat. The sun did get a bit intense, so I placed a blanket over the top and half of the front to give him some privacy and respite from the direct sun and he seemed to appreciate that as well.I dinged this carrier mainly just on "Sturdiness" (3 out of 5) because the front mesh panel sagged a bit on my trip, and I wish it had been more taut. By sagging inward, it did probably take 1-2" out of the front of the carrier for open space for Arnie. He was fine, but it just felt a bit like a design flaw that could be fixed in future iterations. Also because the carrier is designed to fold down for storage (which is great!), it unfortunately is nowhere near sturdy enough to feel good about carrying say from the car to a hotel room or home with the pet inside. At all stops I would transfer Arnie back to his smaller carrier to get him from the car to inside. It is worth noting that the carrier does have a strap that you can flip behind the headrests to help "secure" it to the seat, along with a strap you can loop a seatbelt through. I say secure in loose quotes because it mainly kept it from moving too much when braking heavily, etc but by no means was it firmly anchored in place, which should come as no surprise to anyone but is worth mentioning.Aside from the minor sturdiness issues I mentioned, this carrier was great overall. My cat slept comfortably for many hours in the back seat on our days of drives and I would highly recommend it (or one of the other sizes larger or smaller in conjunction with ones needs) for a comfortable space for your furry friend while in the car.

Perfect for my use
I feel much better traveling long distances when my senior dog is in this travel crate. It’s easy to install/uninstall. My dog goes in/out with no problems and seems comfortable in the crate. It fits a small pet bed to ensure her comfort (the provided mat is very thin). When we arrive to our destination if we’re staying for a while we use the crate for her inside as well, so it serves double duty! The crate is collapsible so it is also easy to store when not in use.

Great for my senior dog
My senior dog does not do well with travel anymore, seatbelt leashes don't keep him in place when he gets nervous so I decided to try a car crate. This one is perfect because it folds up, allowing you to easily assemble inside the car if it doesn't clear the doorway. It is sturdy and I like that it has a front zipper in case I want to hand him a treat or pet him. He is a 25 lb Shiba Inu and he has plenty of room to stand and turn around inside.

A Tent in the Car
We recently adopted a rescue from another state & were unsure how well he would travel. This carrier allowed ease of viewing, with mesh panels at either end, as well as in the front. It also is as wide as the car seat and in the large size we bought has sufficient height for our new pet to stand and turn around. It is very easy to set up in the back seat. The only design problem is that when the end door is unzippered open, the ceiling collapses a bit from loss of support. Also, the little mat supplied for the floor of the tent is very thin & lightweight, so that it slides around. It could be replaced with a foam cushion or perhaps held in place by a rubberized rug gripper. This has been mentioned in other reviews. On the whole, however, our pet enjoys a safe and comfortable ride.

Perfect for our pup!
Got a Large for our 30lb 4.5mo old Dutch Shepherd and it’s great for all Of the car travel we do. It’s secure in the seat and she’s secure inside of it. She still has some room to grow so at about 40-45lbs she will probably outgrow this.We did training with it with treats for a few days in the living room before we moved it to the car. I’d throw a treat in the crate and say “load up!” She caught on quick and now she understands that this is her place in my truck. I have a 2016 4Runner and it fits perfect in the backseat.I have left her unattended in my truck with windows down on cold days and she does great staying out in this! She is also crate trained at the house so this made keeping her contained in it easier. The sides are all mesh and EASILY chewable or a few hard scratches will start to poke a hole. If your pup is chill, it’s a fantastic solution. I can ride with all windows down and not worry about her jumping out either. And my seats are protected from getting scratched. She did get car sick a few times and it super easy to clean up the mess.

Well made pet carrier!
Very roomy for my 30-lbs Sheltie! He can easily turn around inside and get in/out from the side door. Zippers are of very good quality. Mesh is made of thick plastic unlike other carriers with cheap cloth-made materials. Very easy to take down (completely flat) and set up. Size L takes up two rear seats space. Small issue with the pad provided as it won’t stay. Easy fix with adhesive fasteners.

Securely fits on backseat
I researched dog car carriers and none of them provided the most crucial thing I needed - to stop my dog from standing up on hind legs and barking out the window! Driving was so stressful because she would be able to look out the window and bark at people, other cars, everything! This is the best on the market! Securely fits on backseat, comfortable for dog - she can lie out or see me driving through the netting and stops her from getting stressed by looking out the back windows. Shame it has to come all the way from the US but there just isn't a better one of the backseat in the UK.

K&H Pet Travel Safety Carrier
This is the BEST travel crate I have purchased over many years. It offers plenty of air. I have two small dogs that travel in the medium size. They can easily stand and move around in it. Being able to secure it with a seat belt offers added safety. It is very well made and of high quality.I have spent probably thousands of dollars, trying to get the perfect travel crate over the last 5 years and at last I have found it. I highly recommend it.

Had it for almost a year, still going strong!
Love this, gives our little one a view out the window when he wants to rest on top (not he isn't a very big cat even fully frown) and lots of room to nestle inside. When it's too warm/cold or he just needs some down time we throw a blanket overtop. When he was little we easily fit a small travel litter in it, but now he spends more time in it we have a blanket and the litter is elsewhere. Love that there is access panels on both sides so it's easy to get him out when he's inside. He is also able to grip the mesh (when he's on top) and the pad (when inside) to brace himself when we have had a few sudden stops, he didn't seem phased at all. Take him for drives all the time and even on an 8 day road trip with this carrier.
