It comes with a good variety of materials and tools, making it easy to begin different projects right away. Everything feels organized, practical, and beginner friendly.

A basic kit that would allow you to make a basic item. The cord is soft and pliable, if only in a basic beige. This makes it very easy to use. The rings are a nice addition to be able to hang your creations and there is enough yarn for a small to medium size piece.

good starter kit. only thing missing is a few patterns, although a booklet of knots is included. nice beads, 2 size hoops, hooks, dowels, cord - everything needed to get started. i've never done macrame before, but i have done bracelets, hairwraps, keychains, and everything else available with knots and string. im excited to use this kit to make some plant holders! plus this kit has the same things as the most similar, for several dollars less.update: rings may break easily. i used one as a hanger for a small pot and within 2 days the plant and hanger were on the ground - it was not a heavy pot either. the ring just broke. it could be a one off thing though and i do plan to try another project to see how they hold up.

This is a great starter kit for Macrame beginners. There is a booklet with some basic knots, patterns are not included, however, you can Google easy beginner Macrame patterns for great ideas. I did this for plant hangers, so far I have made 3 nice plant hangers with different designs each, and still have enough for several more. I am impressed by the quality and the starter items included in this kit for the price. Great for creative kids, retired parents or grandparents, or for special projects for 4H. It's a great way to have some family projects for the summer or to make gifts for friends and family. I combined my order with a 6pk of round unfinished wood circles to place plants on, the plant hangers I made can also be used without as it will hold a 6" potted plant with beauty and ease.

This is a fabulous buy for the price.Perfect for me to dabble in macrame for the first time, as this kit has basically everything one would need in order to create beautiful plant hangers right out of the box.The amount of each item you receive is extremely generous given the very reasonable price tag…I’d estimate I’ll be able to make up to 10 hangers with the supplies included in this kit.Highly recommend and would buy again.

I picked up a plant hanger for my son and he wanted a few more. This kit cost less than the piece I bought and has enough material to make many of n a similar style to the original. Better yet, my son was able to make them himself and was very pleased with the final products. Great kit!

Agree with other reviews. Great package for a starter kit. There are lots of free patterns on Pinterest for diy hangers. Almost finished my first hanger as soon as I opened package. Extremely worth the price.

This kit was good value for the money and has a brief illustrated book to show you all the different stitches you can do . However it doesn’t contain any patterns to make the various items shown.

This was a nice starter kit for my daughter who got interested in macrame.
