definitely decorative, but not functional as a bookend
These are very cute bookends that are good quality. Unfortunately, they do not function well as bookends. I tried to use them to hold up a handful of lightweight children's books and they would not stay in place. I had to use conventional metal bookends to hold up the books, then use these as decorative additions. If they would attach the bears to a metal bookend base, it would definitely improve functionality.

Not as heavy as expected
Very cute. I just need something so heavy that they could hold Harry Potter books at the end of a li g bookshelf.

Not heavy enough
Super cute looking, but so lightweight that the books fell over making the product useless as bookends. Could still use as decor for shelves, but not to actually keep books upright/in place.

Ok quality; horrendous styrofoam packing
The quality of the bookends was ok- thought they would be heavier. I would never buy this product again because of the styrofoam packaging. I’m still picking of bits of styrofoam the next day.

These are adorable but I wish they were a tad heavier. They hold up my paperbacks OK but not easily.
