This is a good product. I have been using Mink Oil for all my boots for years. This cleans (but you should clean dirt first) and conditions and softens. Lasts for me about 6 months. Goes on easily.

My kid left his glove out in the rain overnight. I was able to restore it with this oil.

The Fiebing's Liquid Mink Oil for Leather Boots (8 fl oz) - Leather Cleaner & Conditioner was purchased during May of 2021 for $8.60 plus tax. It is now available for $8.97 plus tax (December 2, 2024). An excellent shoe repair person I have employed for over 30 years told me that this product should be used sparingly approximately once a year. I made the mistake of using it on a mid tan pair of men's leather chukka boots after each wearing for 3 times. One of the shoes began to darken slightly. So, one must be very careful using this product. Nonetheless, when used properly, this product will definitely condition, preserve, and protect fine leather products. Although, originally, I only used this product on shoes and boots, subsequently, I've used it on belts, wallets, and watch bands with excellent results. It's important to note that this product is to be used along with polishes of any type...not instead of using those products. I will always continue to use this product along with my usual leather product maintenance regimen. An excellent, must have for those who enjoy keeping their leather shoes and such in the best condition possible...so that they will last...especially if one purchases quality leather products.

I put it on all my families leather hunting boots and shoes around the house. I pour some in a plastic cup and take a small 1" paintbrush and dip it in the cup and paint my boots with it putting alot on at all the sewn seams and between the soles and the leather Just saturate the boot then let it dry. My wife and I have boots we use all winter that are 15 years old and they still look new. They are water proof and salt stain proof. If you get them muddy just wash them off with hose and use a boot drier and treat them once a month. Boots will last a long time and keep your feet dry. I've been using this stuff for years. I just Love it.

Easy to apply mink oil for boot preservation. Much easier to use than waxy solid mink oil with excellent results. Darkens leather like all mink oil, great for boots if you don't mind them a bit darker. Softens and helps water proofs leather. Used to restore my old Dexter hiking boots after resole.

I do not notice a scent. Other buyers using other brands complained of a scent. The oil has slightly darkened the couch bringing back some of the natural dyes visually.. Container is smaller than anticipated…Always notice the oz. This was the brand my mother used.

Intanto bisogna sapere che si sta acquistando un prodotto a base di grasso di visone, la scelta sull'acquisto deve quanto meno essere consapevole. Il marchio comunque é tra i migliori, ottima resa, ma occorrono un paio di precisazioni: Scurisce in modo evidente il colore della pelle, in qualche modo lo arricchisce, ma dopo l'applicazione il colore sarà per sempre decisamente diverso, attenzione. Nessun problema sui neri. Attenzione anche all'applicazione, se si esagera temo che si vada a ostruire i pori della pelle causando la "sudorazione" del prodotto e come risultato una sensazione collosa al tatto. Conclusione: per me gran prodotto da usare sporadicamente su pelli fortemente disidratate esempio sui miei stivali una volta l'anno massimo, il resto delle volte meglio un conditioner meno invadente, come bick 4 o saphire renovateur.

Very good product. Will work on all leather but not coated leather eg some doc martens.

Pretty good to be honest, it will darken your leather if it is colored and not black, but it's mink oil so it obviously will. I used it on my dr.martens and it worked great. It conditions and waterproofs the leather to my understanding and I have seen results that I am happy with so I recommend it! Pretty good value for its content
