These are a great bargain. The steel is tough enough to handle "mistakes" without chipping, but will still hold an edge decently. These will serve her well until she knows what knives she wants to buy for herself.

I loved these knives from the beginning! Very sharp and are able to sharpen well. I always hand wash never put in dish washer. 7 months in and some are starting to fail.. A couple I canโt sharpen anymore and my paring knife is done for. Also thought these were full tang but canโt find it in the description.. This doesnโt count as full tangโฆ
