This is a good product for those who wish to mount an outside camera but do not necessarily wish it to be a permanent mount. This does not mount permanently and can be removed by bad guys if they can reach it. My suggestion is to use a ladder and mount it high enough that it cannot be easily reached from ground level. Otherwise it seems to be working quite nicely. Gives more than enough flexibility in setting your camera to the exact position you desire. I already have a permanently mounted wired camera for my front door, so this is great for my outdoor battery camera so that I can move it around as I see fit, no permanent mounting necessary.

They do the job nicely. I bought eight to hold both Arlo Cameras & Lights. I just replaced the siding on my house & didn't want to drill and holes. Although, the don't seem like they would be secure enough, the design holds both cameras & lights really well. We had a nasty thunderstorm last night & all held firm & strong. They white clip & camera on my white siding blend in really well.

I just installed new siding and hate making holes in walls or anything really. I also have commitment issues with where I install things so hated the idea of putting holes in my new siding. These work perfectly with my wired ring cameras and the fact that I have been able to place and replace the camera until I was satisfied with where it was is a huge plus. As other reviewers have mentioned it was a little difficult to make flush but otherwise it's held up pretty well the last couple months even with high winds and precipitation. It also helps hide the camera a bit. Overall pleased.

This product did not come with instructions. It seems like this product only hooks to the siding from the top. The screws on the bottom do nothing to stabilize the unit. I believe the camera has the potential to fall and get damaged with a good gust of wind given that the mount does not attach well to siding and can be lifted from the bottom unhooking the camera from the house siding. Moreover, the design of the screwing mechanism to attach the camera to the mount is poor given that screw to the camera easily gets loose with the slightest adjustment to the camera. Unless there is something I am missing, these mounts are being returned.

I bought 2 of these to mount my Ring Indoor/Outdoor Cameras on the side of my house without drilling into the vinyl siding. I was initially concerned that they wouldn’t be sturdy enough to support the weight of the cameras but that quickly changed once I installed the mounts. Build quality is great and they definitely satisfy the purpose I bought them for. My city recently experienced a series of 60+ mph winds and I was concerned that my cameras and mounts might dislodge but they held up pretty well. Overall assessment—a great product! I’ll buy more in the future when I expand the perimeter of my surveillance system.Review qualifier: Although I received a gift in exchange for posting a review, this gift had no impact on my actual comments.

They hold the ring camera however, it's a little wonky to get it exactly where you want it. the clip goes under the siding great. that part is awesome. the screws however, are bit short and on my siding don't do anything. we have standard 4" siding. The screws need to be about an inch longer and they would offer the stability that they were meant for.

This made it easy to set up my ring cams outside. I originally tired putting one up with gorilla tape and it didn’t hold up for long. So far, the cameras have been up all summer. Hot weather, rain storms, windy days. Another perk is that I can still move them around since they aren’t drilled into siding or brick.

I use it with my Hardie Board sidings. It works and now I don’t have to drill holes into the siding. Just slide it under one of the sidings and now I can mount my Arlo camera.I’ve been looking for a Hardie Board mounting solution for a while so this was a great find.

I was sceptical, but this thing actually works perfect. Easy to install, metal and durable plastic. The price however is a little steep.

Works perfect for the eufy 2c. Easy to install and adjust. It has lasted through a few winter storms so far without issue.
