I have works a Dell Latitude 5420 so to save me lugging around a larger Dell Docking station every time I went to and from the office, I was in search of a lighter (and budget-friendly) alternative that I could use at home. This relatively small docking station works perfectly well for my setup, providing adequate Power, ethernet audio, keyboard & Mouse with 2 additional monitors. This docking station also works well with a compatible phone or tablet.

Bought back in Feb 2021 for £59.99 and has had near daily use to dock my laptop for working from home. Has both powered my laptop and been used for a dual monitor set up with keyboard and mouse plugged into the dock. After 3 years it's time to replace as a loose connection means it keeps cutting out.Great whilst it worked but hoped it would last longer.

When connected directly to the laptop it works fine."UPDATE: This was not due to a docking station fault but the usb c on the brand new laptop I just bought, not all laptops with a usb c port tranfers video, I ended up buying another laptop and now the docking station is working fine.Thank you for the great customer service team whom made me aware the laptop model I had wasnt compatible. Great product!

I have been using this device for almost 2 years and it's been working fine. I recently got CommunityFibre 1Gbps service, but to my disappointment, when I plugged in the ethernet cable I was getting slower speeds than through WiFi, after checking the connection status, Windows only detects it as a 100/100 Transmit/Receive speed and with a Targus USB C dock I get 1000/1000, hence the issue is with this item which clearly states that it has a Gigabit ethernet port.Very disappointed and very misleading description!

**Edit - Update 20th December **I have received the second docking station for use with my Asus Zenbook (with OEM 65W power adapter, not going to buy another just to get a hub to work) to plug into the laptops Thunderbolt 3 port.Genuinely saddened as although an improvement on the originally received unit it does not support charging to my laptop. I have taken photos this time which I'll add to my review so you can see what I mean. The photos on Amazon are not in chronological order. Please note power level at 10:51 was 78% and later at 11:46 it is at 71%.. showing battery draining over time. This time my laptop did not come up with a warning a slow charger was plugged in but the battery power did still drain despite nothing else being plugged in.. Simply Asus OEM power adpter in to the dock and the attached cable from the dock into a Thunderbolt 3 port. Clearly there is power drop as the power transfers through the dock and into the laptop so that it cannot support power charging for the laptop on its own, let alone any other peripherals plugged in. Again I did not get that far as to plugging anything else in. The cooling fan you can see in the photos is powered by its own power supply not from the laptop. This dock may be OK used soley as a hub on a Desktop PC (which I do not have) but sadly not as a pass-through power dock and a hub for my ultra modern laptop. Not trying to show off by this last statement as it may work with other laptops, just not 2020 Asus Zenbook.Edit - Update 15th DecemberTo the credit of the seller having read my review they have reached out to me to try again. All communication has been through Amazon so their heavily discounted (not free) second docking station has been ordered. I will re-evaluate it and my review once received and fully tested.** Original Review **I bought this hub for my Zenbook which features Thunderbolt 3 as I wanted a hub to be able to attach external HDDs to as well as USB CD/DVD Drive and a second display via HDMI. Not all at the same time but this was my "need" list. This hub also claims to charge via the USB-C PD port (Thunderbolt). which is crucial. Basically I wanted to be able to hook up my projector and run a movie from the HDD whilst maintaining / charging the laptop itself. All of which the seller claims this does. I didn't get that far!In fact, unless I have been very unlucky, it didin't get much passed me plugging in the power without my laptop reporting it was plugged into a slow charger, regardless of configuration / ports used. Eventually that warning disappeared but read on.. Then I plugged in my CD Rom to play a CD via one of the USB 3.0 ports and it didn't run..just kept trying to spin up to speed and failing (worked perfectly plugged directly). So I plugged in the HDD to play music from and yes, it did work. However! Unbeknown to me until I got a pop up warning, the laptop almost ran out of power as the battery was depleting all this time despite this being plugged in! I didn't get as far as testing the HDMI functionality, enough was enough..useless. As I said unless I've been unlucky this is far from the hub the sellers claims it is.. I'm very disappointed as feel mislead. I can't understand all the 5 star reviews, I really can't. Clearly not for modern laptops so I'm sending it back for a refund and my advice to you is avoid it if you expect the sales pitch (functions) as I did!

I got a new Microsoft Surface from work with a thunderbolt connection for an external monitor, which meant my mini-display port to RGB adaptor was redundant. I looked at all the options and recommended by a colleague this adaptor had all the gadgets I could ever need: Ethernet port for when I'm on site with no WiFi, RGB and HDMI options when faced with different presentation options, USB and SD reader. I had another spare monitor (both run 1680x1050) , so I replaced both cables with RGB to HDMI and with this I can run them both in extended mode (it claims to run up to 4k). I've never had so much screen space.I since bought a new personal laptop and can easily switch over my monitors and peripherals between the two so easily and without an external power supply it's small enough (size of an iPhone 4) to take with me if I need to.

Great hub! I have 1 additional screen to my laptops and a Wacom Cintiq, so working with 3 screens and 2 laptops can be challenging, with this Hub, i have only one cable to plug in and out and im good to go. I have also connected a stereo headphone, an usb headset (for meetings) and an usb mouse, along with the 2 hdmi screens + 1 usb for the Wacom. Almost full and works perfectly fine!I have added 2 velcro stips at the back and hang it on the side of my desk, that way i have the connections as showed in the picture, and no hassle on the desk.Would've be nice if it come with a way to mount it on a wall. :)

I wanted to connect two QHD monitors to my laptop along with the capability to charge my laptop using a single USB-C connection my laptop has. It works .. but .. as soon as I connect two monitors via HDMI, the resolution of both the monitors is limited to 1080p max - whereas the product description clearly says that it supports 4K resolutions on two monitors via HDMI simultaneously. I bought it based on the good reviews and the description which said that it can support 2 monitors simultaneously at 4k resolutions - which it clearly cant.

Ich benutze den Artikel (Miden Docking Station Hub USB C 12) mit einem Mac Book Pro 2016 (OS 11.2.3)Angeschlossene Geräte (USB2 und 3, SD Card Reader) funktionieren sofort sehr gut und zuverlässig.Beide HDMI Ports und der VGA Port können mit dem Mac Book Pro nur gespiegelt dargestellt werden (siehe Bild).Das bedeutet, dass man mit dieser Docking Station die zwei externen Monitore unter Mac OS nicht erweitern kann.Der Adapter ist gut verarbeitet und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

Je cherchez un dock USB C pour la maison (Macbook Pro) et pour le travail où je travaille avec 2 écrans 27".Sincèrement trouver un tel produit avec Réseau 2 écrans ou plus, USB C de Charge, USB C pour la data, c'était déjà extrêmement compliqué aux alentours de 100€.Pour le coup, et pour le prix je suis bluffé ! Ultra complet, fiable (il tourne prêt de 12h/jour au travail) transportable aisément en salle de réunion pour se connecter sur les vidéos projecteurs, pas plus encombrant qu'un dock qui en fait moins, et contrairement au dock Hootoo que j'avais auparavant il ne chauffe pas du tout !!! Impressionnant.Physiquement très qualitatif, il ne fait pas cheap pour un brin. Très agréablement surpris.Je recommande vivement ce produit, commandé mercredi, livré jeudi.... Vous demandiez du service et de la qualité.... je crois qu'on y est !!!N'hésitez pas une seconde !

Proprio quello che mi serviva! Collegata ad un portatile Lenovo X1 con Windows 10 (di cui non ho neanche privilegi amministrativi), è stata riconosciuta al volo ed è funzionante al 100%.Ho collegato 2 monitor esterni (1 VGA e 1 HDMI) e vanno alla grande insieme al monito del portatile - così ho 3 monitor indipendenti. Perfetto e ho ancora 1 porta HDMI libera (non so se funzionerebbe anche un quarto monitor, compreso quello integrato). Lo spazio tra la VGA e la HDMI è abbondante e i cavi non restano sacrificati, come avviene, ad esempio, nella docking station di serie.Perfetto anche l'ingresso per l'alimentazione esterna USB-C e le 3 porte USB 3.Funziona meglio della Lenovo originale. Tascabile e apparentemente robusta.Ottimo il lettore di schede SD e Micro SD e l'altra porta USB-C (non ancora provata).Però... c'è sempre un però. La descrizione dice chiaramente che la porta di rete è Gigabit 10/100/1000 ma non va oltre i 100. Peccato. Ho risolto con un adattatore USB3/Ethernet ma la descrizione è ingannevole. Purtroppo me ne sono accorto troppo tardi per fare il reso.
