Better value and appearance than I could find locally
I have been building a new set of dishes in the Mora Ceramic Artisan Matte product line. They seem to be scratch and stain resistant. Good quality and value. So far I have these dinner plates and the 7.8" plates. I bought 4 of the 28 ounce bowls and will end up using them as serving bowls because they are bigger than expected. The 16 ounce bowls are great for cereal and soup. We especially like the 10" dinner plates. Our old dinner plates were 11.5 inch and made it look like big portions were small. With the 10" plates, healthy sized portions look like lots of food. Nice weight and feel. Lovely colors that enhance the look of whatever foods you put on them. When it comes to appetizing meals, presentation does matter.

Love! Love! Love! Perfect for Farmhouse Styling!
I had been searching for a beautiful pottery style, neutral, modern farmhouse set of dishes for years before I stumbled upon the Mora Hit Pause Collection. I have tried several styles and nothing ever had the look I was hoping for. When I found this collection in December 2022, I purchased 2 sets of the 10 inch dinner plates, 2 sets of the 7.8 inch plates, 3 sets of the 25 ounce bowls, 1 set of the 16 ounce latte mugs, and 1 set of the 12 ounce coffee mugs as a gift to myself! Though it was quite the investment to have twelve place settings of all but the mugs, it was totally worth it to me! These dishes are absolutely beautiful and are have a substantial weight to them. Though I am certain the colored sets are probably stunning also, I chose the vanilla white to coordinate with my white serving dishes that I already owned. I love the look, the feel, and their durability. We have used them daily since purchasing and they are put through the dishwasher daily. They have held up beautifully for over a year. I love them so much I asked for more for Christmas 2023 and now have 2 sets of the small dessert bowls and two sets of the 30 ounce pasta bowls. (I will be ordering a 3rd set of the pasta bowls for my upcoming birthday.) I don't have any cons to list concerning any of these sets in this collection. My husband is concerned that the weight of my collection could lend to our open shelving not holding up... but they are so beautiful I have to display them. I love these dishes. Something to note: The coffee mugs have a lighter bottom than the latte mugs. This is not a deal breaker for me, I like the slight variation, but might be an issue for some. The color on the bottom of the latte mugs actually matches the bottoms of all of the plates and bowls. The coffee mug bottoms are lighter with speckles... which is also beautiful. You will not regret this purchase! My only dilemma now is what to buy next from my wish list: set of cappuccino mugs travel coffee mug travel tea mugs the new beige boho dessert plates the ramen bowls the salt and pepper cellars

Does all I want and more.
TL:DR - This plate is sturdy, is elegant, can be heated in an oven, retains warmth, and is easy to clean. I wanted a plate I could place in an oven without the worry of cracking. Metal plates are okay, but ugly, and usually laborious to maintain. A friend told me about stoneware plates and special ceramic plates which could do the same. Alas, here I am trying these out. I should also mention, I bought the bowls and dessert plates. My experience with each has been similar, and similarly impressive. Every product has some level of exaggeration to help promote their product. This product undersells what it can really do. Buying these feels like a real steal. The plates are a good weight, and because of it, hold warmth well. I made nachos on a plate for my girlfriend and I, and it stayed warm until the last chip. I also made the nachos, in the oven, on the plate. Something I never thought I would do. After talking with Beth from Customer Service, I talked about my plans and she gave me the thumbs up; these plates are indeed oven-safe. Having done so myself, I can honestly say, broiling at 350F, the plate shows no signs of deterioration. In post, I wanted a plate that could handle the environment inside my oven that didn't look like an industrial creation. As utilitarian as my purchase decisions, these plates satisfied my criteria, and I am satisfied with these plates. For those who are more tactile, the glazed sections of the plate are waxy smooth and show very little to no blemishes. For ceramics, this is fairly professional grade stuff. The edges and bottom are coarse. I actually like this design. The coarse edges provide for a sturdy grasp on the plates, even when washing, while the smooth surfaces help leftovers slide right off, even crisp nacho toppings. They aren't lightweight and I'm sure they would fracture if dropped on hard flooring. For everyday bumps, I think these plates will hold up but only time can tell for certain.

Great looking and easy to clean.
GREAT plates - love them! They clean well and look great. Have had them for a few months and colors are exactly as described and hold up during multiple washes. Packed super well so no breakage/chips/etc.

Typos on plate
I got plates with typos in the label on the bottom of the plates. I contacted the manufacturer to confirm if these plates are authentic or counterfeit. They said there are known typos on some of their plates and the two typos they told me about where "lead ferr" instead of "lead free" and "microwave save" instead of "microwave safe". As of May 2023 they were not aware of any other typos. It took me longer than I like to get that information from their customer support (via email). They were more concerned about informing me that the plates were lead free rather than confirming if the typos I had meant I had authentic plates or not. If you need to contact them you might have to repeat your self a few time to get an answer to your question specifically and the process might take a few days. My interaction took about 3 days (1 day to message them and 2 to go back and forth by email during business hours). All that said I've been using these plates for three months at the time of this writing. I don't have any major complaints about them. Things that should be noted is that they are heavy and the painted brown edges scuff. Neither of those are an issue for me but I was surprised by it when I got the plates. I haven't had the issue with forks are knives marking up the plates yet but I've only had them for about 3 months. I wouldn't call these luxury plates or fine dining plates. I got them because I needed something lead free and durable. These will do just fine and I'm probably get some of other matching dishware.

Cheerful, practical plates
I purchased the Safari color option. I love the colors! I like size of these plates (not too big, fit well in the dishwasher) and the weight (not flimsy but also not too heavy). I find that the plates get quite hot in the microwave— perhaps due to their intentionally thin design. It’s not a problem as long as you are mindful. I enjoy these plates. I have used them for about six months and they still look perfect. I put them in the dishwasher and I am not particularly careful with them. So they are pretty, practical and sturdy. I am pleased with this purchase.

Mora Ceramic Dinner plates
Love this product, good looking and excellent quality. Been using for more than 2 years now and they still look the same as when they arrived. My only gripe is that I feel they could be a little bit thicker in thikckness as they have a "fragile" feel to them but this is only a minor thing and one gets used to it. I use them in an 800watt microwave for @8mins on max setting and in the oven for @1hr at 180degs and they hold up extremely well as the maufacturer says should
