Will this work for iPhone 7?

I cant vouch for the iphone 7, but this works great for iphone 6 in 2012 GLK350. The 7 is essentially the same as the 6 so you should be totally fine.

Is it compatible with iPhone 10?

Yes. I have both an 8S and a X.  Works fine.  Biggest issue people overlook is that this unit is ONLY an bluetooth receiver.  You plug it into the iPod cord in the vehicle and it then receives the bluetooth signal from your phone.  This unit does not plug into your phone, as such it does NOT charge your telephone, so you need to have separate power cable for the phone.  Plays music nicely, but that's about all.  I do not believe you have any other alternatives to play iPhone X music on older vehicles that have old style iPod connections.  There are no workable after market iPhone X to iPod connectors.  So if your older vehicle does have Bluetooth and old style iPod connector this should do you fine.
