This Little Piggy: A Hand-Puppet Board Book (Little Scholastic) Board book – July 1, 2007

This is adorable. I gave it as a good to my grandson who is 6 months old. My son and his wife (my grandson's parents) were delighted and promptly began reading the book to him. My grandson smiled and tried to play with their fingers (the little piggy puppets) which delighted us all.What made it nicer is that the construction of the book is really sturdy. The finger puppets themselves have a hard cardboard in each finger to make them stand even without your fingers in them and appear to be sown well.We love this book and would definitely buy another different story.

They changed the words in the story, but it’s no big deal. Still works great for tickling story time

I ordered this adorable item for a niece and nephew, each of whom lives in a different state. While I wasn't present to see their reactions for myself, both sets of parents let me know that the little ones are crazy about it. I think it's one of the cutest ideas I've seen for attracting children to books.

My newborn baby LOVES when I read her this book! She is fascinated with the little piggies little smiling faces. The book it's self is what it is, a short nursery rhyme. But it is still fun to turn the pages and "read" to her. We make up different versions of the story and it's a lot of fun.

This is a cute little book and the puppets are good quality. The thing that bothers me is that the book does not follow the traditional "This Little Piggy" poem. "This little piggy had roast beef, this little piggy had none" is how it was always recited to me and how I've always known it. I this book they change that phrase to "this little piggy had a cookie." It is irksome. What's the point of changing something like that? As far as I know the version I've always known is correct and I feel like that version should be in this book.

This is an excellent puppet book. Each of the pigs has a different facial expression, and each matches in color to the one in the book. The pages in the book are of very good quality and are glossy. My 4 month old baby stopped crying as soon as she saw it, she was engages and tried touching the pigs and even turn over the pages. Given its low price, I would greatly recommend it especially because it comes as a glove so you will never loose the finger puppets.

This is such a cute idea - I purchased one for my four month old twins boys, and then another for my friend's one year old little girl as they were visiting recently and she absolutely loved it, laughing and smiling when we would play with it and then she carried it around, wherever she went, for the rest of the evening! Highly recommend...

Absolutely love the puppet books! Highly recommend everyone buy one of these who is shopping for a baby! It helps to interact with the baby while story reading! I absolutely LOVE these and so does everyone else who sees them. Highly recommend!
