Scarlet Darkness Renaissance Shirt Women Peasant Blouse Pirate Steampunk Shirt

I bought the shirt for a Renaissance festival. The shirt is well made and the material is soft and comfortable. I'd advise going with your general t-shirt size as the chest area has a lot of room and both the waist and arm hems are very stretchy. I wear a medium in women/unisex T's and Amazon suggested a large would fit me best, but it was big. My chest size is a 36C. I wore a push-up with it; there was still a lot of room left over. I pulled the extra material into a corset and that made it fit better. Hope this helps.

Very pretty shape and soft fabric, but pretty sheer. Works with something over or under it. The small fits even a very small woman - good elastic. Very useful as a versatile costume piece, and could be worn as a normal cottage core top. Can be worn on or off shoulders.

It’s cute! I wore it with brown pleather leggings and it covered my backside well! It also is breathable and works very well under a corset if you want to wear it to a Ren Faire, which is what I did. If it didn’t have the corset though, it’d be a little too roomy, even with the waist elastic. Next time, if I were to purchase it for the day to day, I’d pick a small or wear a wide belt with it. 5’8”, 145lbs, ordered size M.

My teenager begged for this shirt. She’s worn it a lot. It’s holding up well through multiple washes (and a teenager forgetting to wash it and wearing it anyway). Looks cute with the shoulders up or down. She’s worn it with a skirt, and with overalls, still looks good.

The shirt is a little odd. It is like double walled if that makes sense, and runs slightly smaller than normal clothing. I typically wear a size 18 in jeans and a 2x in shirts.. I got the xxl and it fits but is a bit snug. The material is not what I thought it would be either. Overall though, great shirt! Would I buy another one? Probably not this exact shirt but I would buy one very very similar :)

It fit a bit different than expected. Ordered larger but not large enough. Would probably fit a petite frame better.

Very beautiful top! Lightweight but not thin/sheer yet still warm? If that makes sense. Perfect for its intended use! I will be wearing a corset over it and feel like with the corset I could have ordered a size up! Otherwise perfect!
