rotational bliss for your television viewing
This stand does exactly what it's supposed to do - love it. Zero hassles.Basically, I have a laptop hooked up to my television, and do most of my entertainment and computing on it. No matter when I'm at - my work desk, kitchen, couch, even out on the patio, I can rotate my television to the angle I want. Pure gold, I should have bought this thing ten years ago.

Perfect
It fits great. I was worried it wouldn't fit my 43 inch TV because the base isn't in the middle. It has to legs at its ends. The product said about 31 inches so I was worried. But it fits on there perfectly and now I can rotate the TV to any angle I want; towards the kitchen while I prepare lunch or dinner, towards my chase on the left side of my apartment facing the TV or anywhere I want. The dark oak look is very attractive and it rotates very easily. I am very happy. Exactly what I neeed.

Works Perfectly!
I ordered it to use as a lazy susan under my puzzle board.

My wife says this works better than improvising with 2x4s
Over a year ago I purchased a fancy LG 42" flat screen TV. Now these TVs are light enough and stable enough that you don't really need a wall mount. However, the TV sat low on our buffet and signals from the remote got blocked by the sound bar sitting in front of the TV. As a professional couch potato I immediately realized that this was totally unacceptable and improvised a solution to fix the problem. Rummaging around in the garage, I found 3 odd pieces of 2x4 and arranged them so that the TV would sit on them - problem solved. . . Until, "she who must be obeyed" had the temerity to suggest that the 2x4s were less than satisfactory. Stunned that a one year old solution that worked perfectly was deemed inadequate (I mean the 2x4s also had attractive streaks of paint from my wiping off paint brushes on them)I searched Amazon for a solution. I had to do quite a lot of searching. Rather like Goldilocks, some of the platforms were too big, some were too small and some were too expensive. I finally zeroed in on this one by Convenience Concepts. It did the trick. It also allows my TV to swivel, although I don't have much need for that.

This is the best thing out there for what it does. I didn't even think things like this existed..
This is fantastic..I just had to write this in case anyone is on the fence or wondering about this, let me explain what I have. I have a 65" curved Samsung on a table stand with a Klipsch sound bar (not light) sitting on the stand under the TV. I wanted to be able to swivel the tv with soundbar to face different spots in the room based on where you sit or for multiple people in the room to see it at the best angle. I did not want to move the TV to a different spot, install a wall bracket or buy another stand that swivels. I like where the TV is now and the stand I have because the soundbar fits perfectly on it under the tv. So I like what I have, how it's set up and just wanted to be able to swivel it a little when needed. This little thing is built solid, it's actually the same size as my tv stand base and fits perfectly underneath it. It actually has a metal roller ball on each side, I'd imagine just in case the weight is too much on the sides or weight shifts to one side or the other. I do not have this problem and those rollers do not touch the surface below it at any time. It now swivels the TV with the soundbar on the stand effortlessly and stays exactly where you stop it.I was questioning if I should try this, worried about it being too heavy in the wrong spots and I'd have to over hang my stand in the front to compensate for that. But I didn't have to do any of it. The weight from TV and soundbar is at center with the swivel underneath and provide enough weight to balance it all out. So if your wondering if this is worth it or if you have a bigger TV than they list using it for I'd go by the max weight they have listed not the size of the tv as long as your stand is able to sit on it properly. I can't remember how much my tv weighs, but my stand states 33 pounds alone and I have a heavy soundbar on it, PLUS the 65" TV. I am not worried in the least about the weight or moving it on the swivel. I won't be swinging it around in circles all day, I just want to move it when I need to and this does it perfectly. It's nice to find something simple that solves your problem and isn't overpriced. I'd give it 10 stars if I could and for the price and effort to just put it in under the TV, it's great.I included a PIC of the stand I have and pic showing my TV on it. Just to give you an idea of the size of my tv with this stand. I believe it raises it up a couple inches from the surface.

Heavy, high quality!
I was concerned if this Swivel Riser would be solid enough to support my TV, 2 stationary risers to lift my TV higher, Internet Box, DVD Player, Soundbar and an External Hard Drive, but my concerns were not necessary, because this thing is solid. It's quite heavy and though I've got quite a bit of weight on it, it's not hindered in anyway to swivel and no chance of tipping. It's absolutely perfect for what I needed.
