Wüsthof Classic 8 Inch Hollow Edge Chef's Knife, Black, Silver

An exceptionally capable and useful chef's knife. I like the balance and feel in the hand. The knife does not noticeably flex and it is obviously extremely sharp. It's a pleasure to use. Whether it is any better than the non-hollow edged chef's knife is debatable - some sliced vegetables still remain attached on occasion for example but not quite as much as on the non-hollowed version.Not cheap but a great investment if you are an enthusiastic cook.

It does what it says on the tin

Based on the description that said UK models may differ slightly from local ones I was worried it might be a model with just the Wusthof sticker like the older ones. This is just what I had hoped for, use for cutting and chopping vegies and things but has the right weight for me.

This is the latest to my collection and great to use. I have a set of 7 Wusthof knives that are 40 years old and would never trade them for anything else!

Coltello superlativo ottime rifiniture, la manicatura è perfetta ed ergonomica, ben bilanciato risulta molto efficace nei triti e nelle preparazioni che richiedono tagli sottili e precisi oppure per dadolate, le incavature sull’anima del coltello agevolano molto il distacco dell’alimento appena tagliato. I’d been considering purchasing this product for a while now and I’m glad that I finally have. I can butcher a whole chicken in 2 minutes or less. The sharpness, size, comfort and balance are are top tier.
