Don't know but it works great in my vinyl pool. Just make sure you run your filter when you put it in the pool.

Will this suffice for water purification in emergency situations? I understand you have to make sure you get basic Pool Shock with no additives...

This stuff was old and rocky and didn’t do good on my pool.

Can this be used for sanitizing drinking water in proper dilution. I have the formula but the recommended product was Ultima which is unavailable.

I don't think it's a good idea, I wouldn't try it.
