Good value for money, but it isnt quiet. It rattles and it can get annoing if your tank is on a desk less than a meter awayPlus ... at the time i bought it I did not know that it wont start after power outage! So you will have to refiull with water for it to start working again. Imagine if you are on holiday! It wont start like any other this type of filter that has the pump outside the tank ( some of hang on filters has the motor inside the tank and these will start after power outage)
