Great knife, at twice the price. The handle is comfy fory large hands, and the size and angle make it great for a skinning knife for deer and larger animals.The blade came sharp enough to field dress and quarter an animal, but if you're serious like me, it takes a scary sharp razor edge if you know what you're doing.It should be fairly weather and blood resistant; as always, keep them clean and lightly oiled.The sheath is well made and holds the knife firmly; trade-off being that it can be noisy, unless you master the thumb-assisted de-sheathing technique.All in all, it is remarkable that a knife of this quality can be made this cheaply.I can't tell you about how it batons or cuts through car hoods or how long it takes to hack a pine tree down with it, because I am a high functioning adult, and also own hatchets, axes, and machetes for such tasks. It is big enough to handle any problem I've ever encountered in mountains or jungles, anywhere, but the right size and angle for the control needed for finesse work.

Great knife for the price. Very sharp. Good build quality and fits great in my hand. Very well balanced. Sheath is good but not to my liking. Makes the knife sit high while on my belt. I would buy this knife again easily.

Absolutely fantastic quality knife. I had read other reviews on Eafengrow but was skeptical of how good a $30 knife could be. Received the knife and was blown away with the build quality. Solid built and sturdy. It is a beast of a knife. Amazing edge straight out of the box. Comfortable ergonomics and feels perfect in hand. It does not have jimping on the top, however, with the grip shape and angle of the blade off the handle there is zero slip or play. The sheath is awesome and has such a snug fit that locks in place with zero play or wiggle, yet still releases the knife with ease when being deployed. This knife is an absolute steal at $30 and if it had a different name on it would easily be a $150-$200 knife. If you're looking for a good largeish fixed blade, grab this one and you will not be disappointed.Great work Eafengrow.

I like the size and looks of this knife also was inexpensive but not "cheap" only thing bad was it was oily which I expected but was also dirty and gritty took a bit to clean It up but it was razor sharp out of the box and a good size not really big but not small either 👍🏻

Ordered yesterday and received today. Am amazed at the quality of this knife. Weight and balance are perfect for hiking/camping. Blade is very sharp out of the box. Kydex sheath is a perfect fit. Can’t add anymore to the many excellent reviews of this knife. It is a keeper. I was going to replace this knife for a Gerber but I have tried and reviewed other survival knives but don’t see anything that compares to the quality of the EF, especially for the price

Really good thickness on the blade, with a durable edge. Comes sharp out of the packaging & made it easy enough to use on a smaller branch. The sheath fits like a glove for an easy carryA little short for my taste but a good knife.

Nice shaped D2 with kydex for outdoor use, for the price a nice value & good ergonomics. It comes fairly sharp.

Amazing knife and sheath. I am a shop around Amazon fool, and I looked at every single knife, until I decided on this one. For $30 you can't beat it. The blade is sharp enough, impressive and actually dangerous looking. It definitely has a tactical feel. The handle scales and full tang handle, feel good in the hand. The tang is buffed nice and has no rough edges. The feel of the handle still is a bit rectangular, but you can change these scales out. Best bang for the buck going. The sheath is amazing and needs to be given 5 stars as well.
