Item worked well in the beginning, however roughly 11 months into ownership it stopped working. I pulled the starter out of our Kawasaki 610 mule and the nose of the starter had broken off. I contacted the company whom I bought it from about getting a replacement which at this time was roughly 5 days past the 1 year warranty. The first Customer service rep told me that they'd be reasonable regarding the return, however after filling out the paperwork via amazon's return program (like instructed), I did not hear any follow up. After contacting the company a second time I was told that the warranty was not being honored, and that there was nothing they can do. I had to call them to find that information out by the way. Basically, my thoughts after this experience, an OEM starter is quite a bit more expensive than this unit, however it also continued to work for more than 11 months. If you like changing the starter often, than this one is for you, if you prefer to drive your Mule, maybe look at another unit.

worked fine on mule 610 really only needed solenoid but couldn't find right one so just replaced whole thing. have to remove shift linkage then just 2 wires and 2 bolts

Direct bolt on replacement. Tricky getting the old starter out and the new one in. Took me about 30 minutes. Starts right up now by just bumping the key. Good price and fast shipping
