No break-in necessary!
I had never tried on a shoe that was this comfortable right out of the box. I have trouble finding comfortable shoes because of issues with me feet. I will buy more for sure!

Great arch support
Love these shoes. Wore them to a wedding and danced all night. I have a lot of foot problems and these shoes were so comfortable and stylish I felt secure on the dance floor. No slipping and heel perfect height.

Very comfortable
Love these shoes. They are a bit long but I'm enjoying the extra space for my toes are not cramped at all. The width is perfect.

Perfect
This brand of shoes came recommended to me by other teachers. When I looked at the pricing, I was afraid that I was paying too much for shoes that I was buying before I tried them on. However, when I got them and wore them, I was hooked! These are the most comfortable teaching shoes that I have ever bought. They are both comfortable and attractive! They are definitely not clunky grandma shoes! I am no longer worried about spending too much; these shoes are certainly worth it.

Nice looking, but I couldn' find a size that fit.
I bought these in 8.5n and 9n. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the shoe feels too short in the front, while being too long overall. The 8.5 was a good overall length, but too short in the forefoot. The size 9 was perfect in the forefoot, but way too long overall. I had this exact same problem with the cobb hill angelina, which i also bought in sizes 8.5 and 9. I thought I might be able to make the angelina work, because it has a closed heel, and so I could add an insole. But the size 9 angelina was still too long even after adding an insole.I also bought the cobb hill ireland, and I can make those work. I think the difference is that the ireland is flat, and my foot does not slide forward in it like it does in the heeled versions, so the excess length is less apparent.Anyway, I had to return both sizes of the aubrey.

Not Navy Blue
This is a lovely shoe, trouble is that it isn't even close to Navy blue. I already own the same shoe in the multi-blue which is a fairly light powdery grey/blue with a turquoise strip across it that is much darker. Well, this shoe colour is an exact colour match for the lighter colour on the multi - nothing like navy blue. I compared them side by side - no difference. Really unfortunate because I like the shoe very much which is why I ordered the same style but I don't need two pairs identical in colour except for a turquoise stripe - I wanted Navy and this shoe isn't. See the multi in the photo, the lighter colour is exactly what this shoe is.

Comfortable foot bed
I give this shoe starts for comfort-it is certainly easy on the foot for walking. Unfortunately the shoe fits me a little strange and it’s my bad luck I procrastinated and missed the return window. The first thing I (and my observant hubby bless his soul) noticed was the back of the shoe bulged in a weird way and looks unnatttractive. I can almost make it look ok if I do up the ankle strap really tight but then it is uncomfortable. I may have something to do with ordering the wide width for my bunions-a lot of wide sizes also have wide heels anticipating that only people with wide feet will buy a wide size and apparently thos people have wider heels. So possibly on a person who has true wide feet, not just in the front may find these fit perfectly. For bunion sufferers, probably not

Great shoe; average width feet might be better off with a W than with an M
Although I probably should have gone with the wide (although my feet are not wide; they are very average width for my 6.5 shoe size), these are still really lovely. The sole is cushioned and they are really nice quality. They smell and look like real leather and I'm sure they are. They cup the foot in a very flattering way and are the prettiest shoes I have bought for a while. I also really like the amount of height they give me -- they add about an inch and a quarter, which is what I need to be 5'5.I find that the strap that is furthest up on the baby toe side digs in a little tiny bit on my first day of wearing them. It hasn't given me a sore or anything although if I took them on a 2 hour inaugural walk I think there would be a blister. I plan to stretch that strap a millimetre or two manually, maybe with the assistance of a blow dryer, because then they will fit like a glove.

Perfect as Expected
This if my 4th pair of Cobb Hills so I know what I'm getting. They're stylish with a slight heal, good support and some cushioning in the sole. These are my walking shoes. I have wide feet so instead of getting a size 9 I can fit an 8 wide. I didn't remember the right size so bought 8.5. It's a bit loose but I could do a long walk immediately and get no blisters. Color is as shown, and even a bit nicer than the picture. I'm debating buying another pair in size 8 so I have them when I wear these out in a couple of years.
