Where? DON'T TRUST IT! *by D***T on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on February 24, 2012* I bought this product on the basis of the claim that it was vacuum sealed. However that is far from the truth. While yes, you can create a vacuum inside of the chamber by pulling up on the lid, it does not maintain a vacuum and everything inside is still at atmospheric pressure. Unlike other devices, such as say Tupperware, which actually create a constant negative pressure when the top is "burped" the tightvac will never achieve pressure below atmospheric for any length of time (read 20-30 sec). The reason for this is that no air tight seal is EVER produced. As you lift the top off to open it you do feel resistance from air trying to enter through the snug, but nowhere near air-tight, gap between the two halves. If you stop lifting the top the pressure will equalize and return to atmospheric.I would not trust this container to be water tight let alone airtight. If they installed a o-ring to seal the lid and a means of evacuating air from inside they could achieve their marketing claims. As it is, it would make a nice post-modern canister for your coffee, but don't expect it to stay any fresher than in the can it came in.I gave it 2 stars mostly for aesthetics...But they are cheap! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good overall product as a carrying case *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on March 14, 2015* The bottle shipped on time, but I found that over use oils from started to build up on the lid/base connecting pieces and it's quite hard to open/close now. The vacuum existed in the first place but also wasn't as strong as I had hoped, but I understand why now.Good overall product as a carrying case, but not great for scent blocking/long term use due to difficulty removing cap.
