Fully Compatible with old 1l insulated CamelBak bottles
NIce bottle, robust and very well made. Filters are easy to install, charcoal filters lasting upto 400 litres, glass filter upto 1000 litres. Does not require too much mouth suction for water to flow, mouth piece has replacable rubber cover. Filter will not remove any waterborne viruses, so if using in extreme adverse conditions purification tablets may still be necessary.Only complaint, the bottle is not insulated or double walled for keeping water cold for longer, BUT more on that in a second ... Stocking up on plenty of charcoal filters (burned in the past by discontinued filters for my CamelBak Groove Triton). AMAZINGLY, this head and filter assembly fits perfectly onto my old CamelBak insulated bottle making a far better unit for daily use.Fantastic drinking system, well worth the wait.

Silicon mouthpiece came off, replacements unavailable.
Having used a lifestraw bottle previously I wanted a larger size. However this larger bottle leaks anytime it isn't upright which seems to be a design flaw as it leaks out of the top of the lid. 6 months into travelling the silicon mouthpiece came off and replacements are sold out online so again this must be a known design flaw. I had expected more from LifeStraw. The bottle has become more of a hindrance than a help. I love the concept so I am very sad that this hasn't gone so well.

Good product that doesn’t last
Bought for my son who loves it - but product started to fall apartCan’t see where to get my money back or a replacement as only bees used less than 3 months

Feels safe but sometimes leaks especially on planes. Bit difficult to drink from
Feels safe but sometimes leaks especially on planes I'm guessing due to air pressure. Bit difficult to drink from as you have to suck quite hard after a while, guessing due to the filter getting old. Could've gone with the smaller bottle to be honest but I don't go abroad without my lifestraw
