I love "sticky rice". The great thing about this rice is that it is not too sticky. I love to eat it just plain or with a tiny amount of Sweet Baby Ray's Teriyaki sauce. When reheated in a microwave it is just a good as if it were taken out of the rice cooker. It is a white rice but it does have a slight golden color when cooked, that's why it's called Golden.

We eat a lot of Donburi and this is by far the best rice we have bought for it. It's made in California and that's a good thing. California short grain rice growing has been perfected in the past few decades and is even imported to Japan for it's quality. Also, the cooking instructions that come with this rice are very good and I use them for all short grain rice cooking now. The price on Amazon is totally inflated and if you have a store nearby that sells this rice, by all means buy it there for much less.

We only purchase this product in white or brown for our rice cooker.

Bought this bag. Opened two weeks after receiving. Bag was full of bugs. Surprising since it is a sealed bag. Tossed it.

Excellent sticky rice. Highly recommended for sushi or sake making.

I've tried many different high end rice brands. This is by far the best of the best. You can truly distinguish the difference. The only thing is it's too expensive on here. Buy it at a Japanese market or a quality Asian market.
