The packaging was good enough, nothing was damaged during delivery except for the big box that housed my order of both this processor and a cabinet. Didn't expect the cooler of the processor to have a factory default thermal paste already applied, smudged over it unknowingly. All good.

This 10th Gen Processor has 6 Cores 12 Threads & 12MB Smart Cache, max. turbo speed 4.30 Ghz. This 10400F model comes without inbuilt Graphics....needs a separate Graphic Card. 14nm Lithography or die size & 65W TDP. This Processor is more than enough for day to day work, Project works, High end Graphics works in Photoshop & CorelDraw. By adding a good quality Graphic Card High end games & High quality Video Editing/Rendering is also possible. Now a days available here at very low price. I have got this at very attractive price during Festive/seasonal Sale. Thanks a lot to amazon's Clicktech Retail to provide such nice products at very reasonable price.

The product which received was brand new and had the factory seal which was not not tampered like in my Corsair ram which was also ordered from Amazon nice and secured packaging best product

Good for gaming, excellent performance, value for money, good for streaming too. Still recommend better options for the hardcore gamers

10400 F , this F series doesn't have graphic output and hence you have to install separate graphic card. It is written on the box but in very small letters. As the graphic output is dealt by separate graphic card it must have good working capacity for other tasks.

I made best decision to go with i5 10400f insted ryzen 5 3600 and saved some mony for better GPU This CPU is best for 14k price and performes well while streming with OBS (I would recomend to pair this CPU with GTX 1650 super or better GPU)

Processeur 6C/12T qui reste encore très performant en 2023 , ne chauffe pas beaucoup et une consommation électrique maitrisé , 9W en idle, entre 30 et 50W en gaming selon les jeux, et au maximum 88W pendant un stress test très exigeant.

It runs modern games smoothly when paired with a decent GPU, and it handles light video editing and streaming without issues. This CPU performs exceptionally well in gaming, offering frame rates comparable to higher-tier processors when paired with a capable GPU. It also handles multitasking (browsing, streaming, and gaming simultaneously) with no hiccups. With a 65W TDP, it runs cool and power-efficient. Even under load, temperatures remain manageable with the stock cooler—though upgrading to a better cooler is 100% recommended as stock coolers usually are terrible which I'll explain later. Works flawlessly with Intel 400 series chipsets and fits into the LGA1200 socket. Installation was straightforward, and the CPU was recognized immediately. Issues you may want to consider before buying: The "F" series lacks integrated graphics, which means you must use a dedicated GPU. This isn’t an issue for gaming setups but could be inconvenient if you’re troubleshooting without a graphics card. The included cooler is terrible, it’s not ideal for overclocking or heavy sustained loads, or even normal use. If you plan on pushing the CPU or just try and use it for gaming, you’ll want to upgrade to a better cooler. Since this is a non-K processor, it has limited overclocking potential. However, it still boosts up to 4.3 GHz automatically, which is plenty for most users. Overall: The Intel Core i5-10400F is a fantastic mid-range CPU that offers excellent gaming and multitasking performance for the price. It’s power-efficient, reliable, and affordable, making it perfect for budget-conscious gamers and general-purpose users. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a dedicated GPU and might want to upgrade the cooler if you plan on long gaming sessions or heavier workloads. Highly recommended for gaming rigs and productivity builds on a budget!
