Q: Do you get 4 loop pieces with straps per pack or is it 2 loop pieces and 1 strap?

You get 2 Straps, adjustable 18-60". EACH strap has a LOOP on each end.

Q: Are these better than 12 to 42" rok straps? i see a complaint that they are no where near as wide as these 1" ones are. comments on comparison?

The 10050 Straps, 18-5ft adjustable are 1" wide and have a 200lb breaking strain. The 12-42" x 5/8" wide has a 125lb breaking strain, also very strong! I can't understand why someone would complain about the strap. We use the 12-42's on off-road vehicles to secure coolers and fuel jugs and they work perfect.

Q: Is the maximum length of 60 inches the length before it is stretched, or is it the maximum stretched length?

If the strap is 60 inches long, it will stretch 30% of it's size. So that strap would stretch to 78 inches approx.
