Love these repair sleeves! So far no negative comments with my original repair in the ground for over 3-years (and shallow might I add so zero-turn and my small 30 hp tractor routinely drives over). I now maintain a selection for the pipes I have in the ground of 3/4” and 1” sprinkler piping. Benefits: - reduced labor - since the sleeve allows for bridging the gap of a broke section, I do not have to open as much ground as I did with using a collar or installation of a union (which I have had leaks from due to running over the ground after repairs to pack it down - reliable - see note above as I was concerned about kinking, roots, etc causing the sleeve to leak around the sliding seals but solid as a rock so far - cost effective - I prefer this due to the above comments although the collar is always cheaper but I had to open 3-4 feet of hole on either side of the break and closely estimate the cutting length before pulling the pipe up in an arc to gain enough clearance to slide the pipe fitting(s) onto the repaired section. Hope that makes sense?

It cut my one hole in my glazed pot. I kept spritzing it with water to minimize heat build up and it did an excellent job. Don't know how long this bit will last as I only have this one small project where I needed to drill a hole without damaging the beautiful blue antique fired and glazed bowl.

Very easy to use, fixed my leak and it was WAY easier than I thought it would be. It did not come with directions of any kind, but after watching a 3 minute YouTube video installing was not an issue. Only time will tell on the quality and durability but it seems very well made. All I can attest to is there were absolutely no leaks after installing. On the video it just said to make sure it is extended fully. Let me tell you, for less than $8 it was money well spent.

I reviewed their installation video from the manufacture that is on their YouTube channel. I was impressed of the quality of manufacture and the ease of installation. This unit is made in USA and works better than the cheap imports you get at local big box hardware stores that I had to replace too many times. Like them so well that I have extras ready to use if needed. I have already loaned some to a neighbor.

This is the product to use for a repair coupling in a tight space, such as swimming pool configuration with no room to move the pipe. Couplings with unions, can lead to a point of failure. Measure, recheck then measure again before gluing.

Worked great. Purchased two which made vertical and horizontal alignment for my two discharge pumps in a single sump incredibly easy. Cheers ringding.

a good fix for pipe in the ground had to do some sanding for 2 inch pipe to fit into 2 inch connector but seems to work

No instructions come with it. Installed as per website instructions. Leaked after allowing glue to dry. Contacted manufacturer and asked about the proper positioning of expansion piece. They say it should be at mid travel, no where is that discussed anywhere I looked. Who recommended using if downstream of solenoid valve incase of leak.

We were so excited to find this product. Working in a tight space, this seemed to be the answer. Unfortunately it leaks. We did order a second one hoping we just got a lemon. I will let you know how the second one goes.
