I purchased the tallow face soap after using tallow as a moisturizer. I love the scent of the lemon soap. Healthy products are important to me. This product is giving me peace of mind and great looking skin. I also like that there is a lather to this soap.

I have very sensitive and oily skin, so all regular soaps I’ve used don’t help much. My wife could tell which pillow case was mine from the smell and the stain, no matter how often I showered. I started using this as both soap and shampoo and in less than a week, my skin cleared up and my constant greasy feeling went away. My pillow case is clear and the funky smell is gone. Great stuff, highly recommend! I bought this for my brothers who also have this problem!

All jokes aside, this soap smells absolutely wonderful, works really well as a shampoo for me too. Some Native American tribes would use tallow and charcoal mixes, often but not always with scents and oils, to make something approximating soaps for their hair and body, and they had very healthy hair. My hair is infinitely softer since I started using this and stopped using conventional shampoos. The lemongrass smell is really dominant as you shower, it will literally make your whole shower smell like the soap just from beinf in the steam, but as you dry off you'll smell increasingly sweet, and it's very nice on my skin. Far more natural and healthy for your skin than all the "cruelty-free" junk soap that people pedal.

First, I appreciate that this soap doesn’t have any masking fragrances. I don’t want to smell like a tea tree, or a lemon, or heaven forbid a Celtic Spring. So that rules out most of the drugstore soaps.This soap is made from beef, and while washing, it definitely smells like I’m rubbing my body with a ribeye. It’s not really pleasant, but the smell doesn’t linger.As for the washing, I have pretty oily skin and this soap is right in the sweet spot for me. I don’t feel like glycerin soaps clean me all the way, and Dr. Bronner’s literally makes my skin fall off. This soap leaves me feeling clean and refreshed, and doesn’t leave behind any oily films.If it weren’t for the ribeye before breakfast, I would give this five stars, but I’ll take off one for that. If that’s okay with you, I would recommend this soap.

Fresh citrus-like smell, very pleasant and clean feeling after getting out of the shower. It also foams well which is a bonus. Will be purchasing and trying other ones in the future!

I’ve started to use that brand over the past year or so. I haven’t had any issues until now. I bought this soap for my wife and kids for Christmas. Whenever they use it, their skin turns red blotchy all over. I use the Forrest pine version and haven’t had any issues. I tried the apple version and it gave me the red rash! I tried reaching out to the customer service but never got a response. I’m not sure if they are ignoring my issue or maybe no one is paying attention to the issues people have with the brand. This definitely makes me question if I should stay with this brand and I make sure I tell other people to be careful buying this brand.

My go to bar soap. Great non toxic alternative to regular soaps. Cleans very well and smells amazing!

I liked it, it worked as soap. As far tallow soap goes I’ve had betters ones from other companies. They could mix their bath a little better so there’s no trans parents portion of the soap. But it lasted at least 15 uses and cleaned so a good soap just wished they d it up better before molding it.
