Komelon Metal Measuring Wheel

I've had many wheels in the past but I suspect this metal one will be my last. In the past, most products had a lot of plastic in them. Not this one. They kept the mechanisms simple, following the KISS system. (Keep it simple s......). The reset is a little awkward at first, as you have to spin a dial to get it back to the original zero but you get used to it. It does have these little metal pins that trigger the counter to advance to the next foot. Don't use this for inches. This is both efficient and fast.

This is the best measuring wheel I have used, and I have used several. I use this 5 days a week, multiple times a day and it works well. Simple and straight forward which is good when you just need to get the job done. It is heavy in comparison to all the others I have used but it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Nice and heavy duty. Seems built well. Only wish it was truly a Japanese made product.

Extremely happy with this purchase! I use measuring wheels regularly with my job and I am so tired of constantly replacing them. This is the most heavy duty wheel, I’ve come to find! Appears it will last a lifetime with the metal frame. The LED light on the readout will come in handy working in the early morning. I’ll follow up in a few months but my initial review is that this was a great purchase and well worth the extra $$$.

I paid $125.00 for this wheel. Not even 90 days later it’s broke. This is one of the most expensive wheels on the market. Only a 30 day return policy is horrible! DO NOT BUY!

Liked the quality but a little bit heavier than expected

Well built and accurate measurements. So far has held up well in the field after about 10 uses in wet and cold conditions.
