Good for ideas
This book isn't to actually teach you French; but how to go about learning to become fluent and how to study the language beyond the classroom. Gives a lot of great tips that seem to be common practices that polyglots use, hence the name. These tips could be applied to any language you are trying to learn, even though French is the main focus, making it a cheap yet available learning tool in general for those who are trying to learn another language.

It is in English! Great techniques and links for the very disciplined learner....
After looking at the sample, It was not enough to get past the instruction part. I bought it anyway...just a general guide to leaning any language, not just French. It does give you some good links to other sites and recommendations for language leaning. it could have been written in 1 page! Example: "Here are some useful links and spend as much time as you can in learning the language that you want to learn. Read, write, listen, REPEAT!"

Could be summed up in one page
This is basically a guide to studying languages for someone who perhaps doesn't want to use the internet for study tips, but everything here can be found within an hour on all the language learning sites. Also a chapter is dedicated to explaining Anki, which I found odd since a. there are already many guides to Anki online, including the ones created by Anki which do a good job and would be present at the site of download, and b. Anki's not a particularly complicated concept to explain–it's a flashcard site with audio.

Good ideas, easy read.
I thought there were a number of good ideas presented in this book, and I've put some of them into action. Since then I've found that I'm learning more and having more fun doing it. Good, detailed and practical advice. The book is easy to read and fairly short.

Don't waste your time and money if you want something to TEACH you French
I guess the title should have warned me. There is no actual teaching of French, only suggestions about HOW to learn -- things like flash cards and practicing every day (hmmmmm, like I hadn't thought of those on my own!) Definitely not worth even the 99 cents. The one suggestion with merit (in my opinion) was to read materials written in French so I've purchased a children's book as a starter.

Great book.
I love this book. It's a great book for a person who's just learning or for a person who's brushing up on what she learned in high school. ;-)

Don't buy this
You will learn nothing from this book. It is simply a set of instructions telling you how the authr thinks you should learn French. It is methodology not teaching. I wasted my money. You are far better off with the Michel Thomas CDs. It should really have a no star rating but Amazon for some reason will not allow this.

Waste of time
This is the first time in a long time I’ve asked for my money back! It’s basically 86 pages telling you to practice your vocabulary and listen to french tv/radio. Then there are pages devoted to how to install a Flashcard app on your PC. Absolute waste of time and money, and I now have to personally apologise to Greta Thunburg for the carbon footprint created by printing, posting and returning this item!

Useful
Probably more suited to intermediate learners. As with all language learning, it really all boils down to how much time and effort you are prepared to put in. I also downloaded a sample of how to learn Italien and found it to be exactly the same as the French version, but cheaper. I would recommend that you buy the Italien version and subsitute the word 'Italien' for 'Frenxh' as you read.

Very practical!
For those who are scarred with a traditional French education, this will rebuild your confidence to learn and enjoy it!

Language learning tool
I did begin to read this book but to be honest I decided to use an online language app as it was so user friendly.
