These are so good...when available. I've used them in my "famous" chili rellenos casserole but now they are unavailable. These small cans were the perfect size for my recipe so I don't have to put the excess in the fridge where they just get moldy. Where did all the green chilis go?? Can't even find them in grocery stores.

Your whole green chilies already skin and ready to eat. They are not hot. They go great with spaghetti. They’re very delicate not chewy, but just perfect. I haven’t found any of these along time since I lived in Texas but you will love that. Is there a little expensive but they’re hard to fine. I totally enjoy my green chilies. Set lights on my wake up and just go and open a canna. Need to call Ray chilies right out of the can they’re so delicious.

Me and my daughter love making chile rellanos out of these peppers. Convenient quick delivery at a much better price than Hatch chiles. I ordered both andcould not tell the difference in taste.

One of the cans only had one mangled green chili in it. The rest was juice. Other cans had multiple whole chilis; however, the skins were attached. What has happened to the quality? Won't buy again. Been a customer of Ortega for 50 years plus. So sad. I bought 2 cans of chopped Ortega green chili's in Safeway grocery last week. Skins were in them also. Had to pick out at least a tablespoon. Not easy in chopped chili.

Good quality whole chiles but price is very high compared to diced chiles. One can arrived dented, but contents were fine. This may be the only source since no local stores have the product, but it seems like extortion.

They were not "whole" chilis. At best, they were maybe 1/3 chilis. Definitely bigger pieces than chopped or diced, but not whole. They tasted fine & were usable, but I was hoping for whole chilis to make chili rellenos the way I used to be able to do by stuffing the chilis with cheese. Disappointing but doable. They also took over a month to arrive & were quite expensive compared to what they used to cost when they were available in the grocery store which probably reflects a scarcity issue.
