Hurley Men's Phantom Boardwalk Short

These are great pants. I own 6 pairs of the phantom board walk shorts. These didn't come with the sewn in Hurley logo which to me makes it more of a premium look. The size was a little smaller compared to my others. Luckily for me I'm 1 size smaller than the 36, but can't fit a 34. So these work just fine, but slightly tight. I wear these anywhere I go. I can play volleyball or go out to a nice restaurant. I also have 4 pairs of board shorts from Hurley. They're awesome as well. I do not put these in the drier! They look just as good as when I bought them after washing and wearing them almost every other day. I go through 3 pairs of pants a day... It's sad I know, but I use them very often. I use bleach with these a lot as well because I sweat a lot and tend to make my cloths smell. So a little bleach helps. They resist stains. The volleyball courts I play at tend to leave a orangish hue on your cloths. These pants resist it! I have a white pair and they look amazing after a year. they're expensive, but worth the cost because they last forever. The oldest pair I have is 2 years old and they still look new.

My younger brother in the Marines told me about these shorts after being stationed in Okinawa, Japan for 2 years. He said the tropical climate was too much for his standard cotton shorts and the swampiness in the nether-regions could not be combated by Gold Bond alone. I don't have to worry about that climate as much here in Michigan but there are still some hot summer days that require some well vented shorts.These shorts are my new go to in the summer now. Perfect for golf, grad parties or whatever else you want. Material is identical to Hurley's Phantom Boardshorts (ie material stretches slightly to allow for more mobility) but it has normal short pockets to make them just as useful as those cotton khakis you will probably toss after buying these. Fit just as expected.

Love these! They look very classy; not at all like boardshorts. They have the texture of a dress short.I got these because I wanted breathable shorts for the warm weather, to reduce sweating. I also like the stretch; they are super comfortable and easy to move around in.The fit runs big in my opinion. I normally wear 30, 31, or 32 depending on the brand. I got these in a 30 and they are a bit loose around my waist ... although I think a 28 would be too tight.

I really love these shorts and I'm usually a size 38 in the waist but these are just a bit too tight around the waist at a 38 waist. I still wear them and they look and feel great and them being a bit too tight give me motivation to lose more weight.

These are my favorite pair of shorts by far. I live in Arizona and work at ASU outside in the heat and these look good and feel good. They fit way more comfortable and relaxed than typical cotton khakis yet look more profrssional. The only downside is both buttons on the back of them popped off and I can't find them. However I don't think that's a product defect, I think it's because I wear them a lot.

These are technically not boardshorts. but i wear them on a board once in a while. I love these. Board shorts have gotten ridiculously big! like a tent. Not the Phantoms. These are properly baggy but the cut and its relaxed stretch fabric ... trust me. They look nice. They feel nice. They're the only "boardshorts" I wear now.

Really nice shorts, high quality. The fabric feels nice and appears durable. Should serve very well when the weather becomes unbearably hot.All in all they are great. I'd prefer them a bit longer, perhaps 0.5''. But I'm 6'3'' with long legs. They will look a bit longer on somebody slighty shorter.

my son is a US Marine, he says these shorts are the absolute best. They have belt loops which make them acceptable for a proper man to wear, yet are quick dry and sporty for an active man. He now owns two pair.
