Bright Ideas Journal

This is smaller and thicker than I imagined (didn't check the dimensions). It will fit in a smallish purse. Nice, sturdy cover! I would absolutely buy this as a gift for someone who sketches in pencil.

I love the thickness of the paper and the colors of the sheets themselves are vibrant. Overall the product would be perfect. With all the positives said, I will never use this product. Whatever brilliant idea genius created this product didn't think it through entirely. Someone decided to label each sheet with the color name in the lower left hand corner. Why would I want this? Clearly someone at the company thought their brilliant naming conventions were more important than my use of said product as a consumer.It leaves me wondering whether they tested this product with real end-users before rolling it out. That one small decision to assign a color name to every sheet and etch made it impossible for me to use. I've tried to get past its existence. I've marked through it. I've adhered labels to it. Everything ruined the aesthetics of every sheet. The fact it is on every sheet is even worse and, quite frankly, obnoxious.Overall Bright Ideas Journal was a product with a lot of production brought low by a not-so-bright decision in product development. If you don't mind your sheets being labeled with names such as Red Hot Ideas, Blazing Breakthroughs, Rosy Outlooks, Twilight Insights, Silver Linings, Deep Reflections, Blue Sky Brainstorms, Evergreen Inspirations, Freshly Minted Inventions and Sunny Thoughts, you'll likely love this product.**Notation** I purchased this product and its equally labeled cousin Bright Ideas Superbright Journal. Both have the same issue

Super cute! Each color section has a different name on the footer. My only complaint is since it's relatively small in size but thick - it can be difficult to write in at times

I really like the size of this notebook, as well as the fun colors. The notebook seems to be sturdy and well made. I use it for client notes in my practice!
