Information Technology Control and Audit, Fifth Edition

Includes Templates for general IT audits & more
The chapter information is on par with any grad level textbook. What sets this book apart is the Appendixes that offer a great starting point & things to consider when performing all tech audits. Planning memos, IT programs & Control areas, Testing procedures, Risk Assessments, sample IT operations policies, End-user considerations, etc.Worth keeping as a desk reference.

Poorly written, hard to follow
One of the worst textbooks I’ve used in my 4 year degree. The information is presented in a very strange way. Multiple occasions when the end-of-chapter exercises ask you to answer content that is not located in the same chapter. Some chapters contain tables that span on 5-6 pages and I personally have not found any of them to be helpful. If you are a professor I recommend finding an alternative to this text if possible.
