This definitely helps slow my kitty down when eating.

Easy peasy for feeding my cat his wet food. Easy to clean and he definitely slows down when eating.

I usually do bone broth, wet food, little plain chunks of chicken, and sometimes mix in a couple of hard treats like for teeth cleaning. My cat will work at the mat for around 20-30 minutes (sometimes taking breaks in between). I make sure to take the mat away after an hour to ensure that she doesn't get sick from eating food that has been sitting out for too long. Not the most fun to clean but I use a stiff bristle brush to knock the stuff out from the little nubs-- after letting it sit in hot/soapy water for about 5 minutes.

I cut this to fit in my cat's food dish to help slow down her eating, which seems to have helped. I had some durable kitchen scissors to cut the mat with. Easy. No regrets on the purchase.

Easy to clean and put food in but the little squares were a little too deep for my cat and a lot of food was getting left behind. But may be great for a bigger cat.

Very thin and soft mat. I've used others that lasted longer before the silicone gets torn. My always ravenous, 15lb cat tore out, and ate a nickel size piece of the silicone mat when we left him alone for about 30 minutes. We had to take him to the emergency pet hospital when we discovered what he had done. They induced vomiting, and the piece came out. $348. Thank you very much.It did slow down his eating. I wouldn't leave a cat unsupervised, and please put it up before they can chew the thin silicone.

My cat has licking, over grooming issues and this mat was recommended to me to satisfy her need to lick. This one is for small kibble. I don’t know if she is having to do much licking to get her food but she prefers it over her bowls. The mat looks like it’s been licked so we’re both happy with it. I don’t see any reason to buy the heavy version. It stays in place on the floor, no sliding

Ich bin froh, dass ich die Lickimats gefunden habe, die haben mir mein Hundehalterleben um einiges vereinfacht. Ob Gewitter, Silvester oder einfach nur so meine Hunde lieben die Dinger. Und ich auch, einfach in die Spülmaschine und fertig.

Super Beschäftigung für Katzen, sie fressen dadurch viel länger und müssen etwas dafür tun. Lässt sich auch sehr leicht reinigen. Top!

I have a large breed cat who can be fussy on what biscuits he likes at different days and sometimes we end up with multiple bowls but with this quite large mat I can put different flavours for him to eat when he feels like it.The quality is great and with wet food it’s at least a bit more interesting to lick up and moderately easy to clean due to the material (you can bend it and the dry parts come out). However I prefer to use it for dry food.It is also useful for giving medications mixed with the ‘hand feed tubes’ as cat seems to think it is fun and forgets about the medication.
