I like that it does NOT track like other litters can since I do have it in my living room. Due to my cats being indoor/outdoor cats I've only have to clean the litter box out once a week or so, a jug of this litter has lasted me for a few months now. The clumps are easy to scoop out and do NOT fall apart like other litters can. I don't notice much of a scent to it. Even when the litter box needs to be cleaned out. My cats enjoy the fine texture. I like that it is lighter weight so it is easier to pour. YES I would recommend it to other cat owners. And I like that it is not expensive like some litters can be.

I’ve been looking for a dust free litter and this is the best of the several I’ve tried! It clumps really well and doesn’t have dust flying when I’m pouring it or scooping the box. It also is very light making it even easier to scoop. However, because the litter granules are so small they do track a bit and I’m having to sweep around the box daily. It isn’t the best with covering scents, however for an unscented litter it does well in my opinion. Definitely a good option for an unscented litter!!!

We've been very happy with this kitty litter. We switched to this brand a few months ago. I wanted to wait before leaving this review. I'm the one that scoops the boxes clean each evening. We have 3 cats and 2 large boxes. I keep the area very clean. Have rubber mats as they step out of the boxes. The other big brand we used for years produced too much dust. That was my reason for switching to this one. It isn't dust free BUT it's a lot less dust. There is never any odor. I also love the pour container. The other stuff we used came in heavy cardboard boxes with a little plastic handle on top. Too heavy for me. These containers are good. We have three girls, all fixed. I also believe that makes a difference in kitty litter boxes. I've had boys before and they might spray at times and sometimes the urine smells. I have not any problems with my girls. The most important thing is to CLEAN your litter boxes every single day. Don't wait or skip a day! What if that were your toilet? How would you like it? lol yuk! I also once a week use Lysol wipes from Amazon to wipe the inside of the walls of the litter boxes to make sure they are clean and sanitary. One wipe per box works fine. I use lemon scent. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis, and for years I was using a product that is not sold in stores and comes delivered, weighing only 4 pounds. I used this for years, but their prices recently went up and they weren’t cheap to begin with. I recently had a billing issue that was not resolved to my satisfaction, so I decided to just look for something else, and I’m very glad that I found this one! Yes, it’s a 15-pound jug, but it comes right to my door and I am able to bring it into the condo and then into the laundry room, where I dump quite a bit of the jug in to start for the month, then just pour and replace as I go. I feel that this product is excellent at odor control; my home does not smell like I have a cat or kitty litter in it, and while I would even be okay with a little bit of odor just in the laundry room where the litter box is kept, there is none! This product is also great at preventing tracking; despite having mats in front of the litter box, I always had a problem with other brands of litter creating dust and litter particles all over my laundry room and hallway. But since trying this litter, there is none! I mean NONE! I’m not sure how that’s possible, but I’m just grateful that it’s true. It clumps beautifully — everything holds together well, but it doesn’t turn into freaking cement, which was the problem with another brand that I tried in between my old brand and this one. (Again, with fibromyalgia and arthritis, I could barely scoop out the other product’s cement clumps!) My cat has feline herpes and allergies, and I also have allergies, which is why I got the scent-free version, and my cat has no issues like that with this litter, nor do I. I feel better knowing that we are not breathing in a bunch of toxic chemicals. Excellent value for the money, too! If you’re looking for an all-around good kitty litter, you need to try this!

When I first started buying the "Cat’s Pride Odor Control Lightweight Clumping Cat Litter with MaxPower" I thought it was great, would have given it 5 stars. It seemed to live up to its name; it was lightweight, clumped and absorbed much of the litter box odor. And it was a great value. But... lately something has changed whether in the manufacturing of the product or something else I don't know. My cat is clean and I scoop her litter box every day and never used to have lingering odors. But lately three things are happening with this litter: -- It's no longer clumps. The urine just soaks into the litter and when I try to scoop it, it just sifts through the slots in the scoop. -- Because it doesn't clump, the box gets smelly fast because the urine just saturates the litter. My cat has sure noticed the change! She likes to be clean and she used to scratch, scratch, scratch to cover her "business" before she walked out of her litterbox. Now when she pees she turns around and sniffs it then just runs away. (Although she still buries her poop). -- Aside from the odor, because the urine isn't clumping and just soaks through, it's very difficult for me to keep the litterbox clean. I've begun to have to buy a separate litter deodorizer to mix in with the smelly litter before I add fresh to the top. I'm a disabled senior citizen and can't afford to throw out all the litter every time; that's why I depend on cat litter that clumps and is easy to scoop. I'm really not just trashing the litter, the seller or the manufacturer; I'm just writing a straight-forward review. Anybody can look up all my Amazon reviews and see that they are fair and honest. The next time I buy litter I plan on researching other brands and will try something else even if it means having to pay a bit more -- if that's what it takes to make Minnie and I both happy.

I usually don't have much to say about cat litter because, well, let's face it...it has one purpose and if it works it works and if not then it doesn't so there isn't much to say. But let me tell you....I LOVE this litter. At first I was using another big name brand, and scented. Which at the time I adored because I hadn't ran into this gem of a product yet. This is a very fine litter, like sand almost. It clumps way better than the brand name litter I was using, it isn't dusty, because it is unscented it doesn't reek your house up with flowery smells. The cats seem to enjoy digging in it just to play a lot of times, but then again I have oddball, weird cats so that may just be them and not the litter. When they go number two and drop a stink log, there is literally zero smell once they cover it up. Even when I clean the box out, I am not overwhelmed with ammonia due to urine soaking down to the bottom of the pan and just staying wet and saturated in the litter. It also doesn't turn to clay when they pee. The price is also phenomenal compared to what I used to pay for a 15 pound jug. And when I scoop, this litter runs right through the scoop, I don't have to shake the scoop to get loose litter to fall through. I want to add I have two cats that use one litterbox, also. Probably another reason I'm pretty impressed with this litter. I do want to add one con. But it's the only one I could find....this does unfortunately track easy. I have to sweep the floor around the litterbox daily due to little granules of litter scattered about, but my male also flings litter sometimes because he's a jerk. He also buries his toys in there but that's another review for another day.

Cat’s Pride Max Power: Total Odor Control is my go-to cat litter. It has no strong smell and is not dusty. It clumps super well, and makes for easy scooping or both #1 and #2 lol. I love it so much, I have this on Subscribe & Save. I misjudged how much I needed one month and had to buy an emergency bottle of a different brand at the grocery store and was reminded of how important quality cat litter is - the store brand I bought was so dusty, it created a cloud just topping off the litter. Yuck.

UPDATED FEB 2026 LITTER HAS CHANGED!!! The last three jugs of litter are different, every single one. There is a mix up. It is not the same. This current jug is not clumping and messy as heck. The one before that was very thick and heavy dark big granules. I am disappointed. I really loved this litter. I have had cats in our home for over 20 years. I have tried many litters, well over 10. This is the best litter I have ever used. It does not stick to cats paws, there is very minimal tracking and it is low dust. I appreciate how it controls odors. I hardly ever smell the litter box anymore and I have two cats. Really glad I found this product. It is fragrance free and there is no scent.

Ive never had litter stick to the bottom of the litter box before and some pieces clump nicely some dont. I dont know i dont think i would buy it again.

It can definitely mask the smell of cat pee for 10 days as stated but not poop. I find that I need to remove it immediately or the whole room starts to stink. On one or two occasions where my cat buried her poop to the very bottom, I don’t notice the smell. But in the three months that I used this litter, this only happened twice so I usually have to remove her poop immediately. It also clumps really well. But after 10 days I need to remove tiny pee clumps from the litter or it starts to really smell. Definitely no dust as stated although 1 container out of 3 had a minimal amount in it. This litter also tends to get stuck in my cat’s paws and tracks everywhere she goes. I like this litter overall but it is not the best for sure. I’ve used other litter in the past that masked her poop and pee really well without tiny clumps being formed for 30 days. Sometimes even 60. Will update my review after I try other litter brands.

Might be ok for regular litter box, but in litter robot it’s gluey, clumps break up and it tends to smell.
