Exactly what I wanted for my husky hot dog compressor. After initial use i felt a couple small holes on the side might add some cfm for my bigger air tools so i drilled 2 -3/8" holes on the side. No change in sound level and add some intake volume. Also i was able to reverse the lid, like we did on old chevy's to add some air and with the nice gasket in the filter it seals perfectly after tightening the wing nut.
