price is a total rpoff
Should have cost $1, not $10... That said, on time, right size... In my csse the damn Salt charger was no good anyway. Back to Tablets in a floater. the wanted $2,000 to install a new Salt charger

Old rings get flattened
Old rings become flattened against the facing surfaces. New rings are round and don’t leak when compressed . Use silicone grease liberally on the threads the facing surfaces and both front and back collar contact surfaces , I use oil filter pliers gently to grip and tighten salt cell grooved collar nuts in place and wiggle cell gently side to side as I turn the last turn to get a good seal with no leaks . DO NOT-DO NOT -TIGHTEN THE BIG NUTS BEYOND WHERE THEY STOP SNUG AGAINST THE O RING using those oil filter pliers, if it leaks on start - stop- loosen slightly- wiggle cell side to side slightly as you retighten to align the the flat surface of the collar face back to snug and recheck by turning on pump.

Much needed O-rings
I had numerous O-rings to replace on my Hayward pool and valves. These valves were leaking badly due to age, but now back to new once all O-rings replaced
