I have a special scrubber made especially for cast iron. (Amazon… KITCHEN-PRO Cast Iron & Pyrex & Stainless Steel Skillet Chainmail Scrubber) Works great with just a TINY drop of soap (I use Ivory liquid) then rinse well. I also use a cast iron scrubbing brush for hard to reach areas.
