Stunning Picture, Quick Setup
I received this projector only yesterday, had it for less than 24 hour but I am so impressed with ease of set-up and picture quality, I am rushing to write review. It was a breeze to set-up. Just follow the step-by-step instructions that comes with the projector.Adjusting picture size, and shapes are unbelievably simple. This is our first ever projector of any kind so I can not compare with other UST or conventional projectors.I also have seen numerous complaints about the fan noise, however, I did not find it as troublesome as others. We have less than 10 feet of viewing distance. At this distance fan isn't whisper quiet but it isn't overwhelmingly loud either. The fan is very loud when the projector is first powered-up but it quiets down in a couple of minutes. Another important thing to keep in mind is level of "light-output". At 100%, the fan noise is extremely high, but in normal viewing mode at 80% or below, it is pretty quiet. The picture is plenty bright at 80% light output level.Regarding the picture brightness, contrast, HDR, color saturation: I found the projector excelling in all of these. We do not have an ALR screen, it is being projected on a beige wall. We don't find the colors off at all. we have to try using it during day and see how it holds-up.It is bit annoying to set-up Google account for using the built-in Android TV. Not sure if you can use Android TV without Google account. Android TV supports many streaming Apps natively but not Netflix. Go figure!Netflix can be streamed one of the three ways: via YouTube TV or Chromecast or Roku or some other external streaming device. I was able to set-up HBOMAX, SHOWTIME, and PBS but haven't had success with using built-in Chromecast for casting Netflix. Currently only YouTube TV works for Netflix. Bult-in Google voice assistant works really well.Overall, a great projector for someone looking for great picture and sound out of box without professional installation and special mounting, wiring, etc. It is full HD, we did not find picture quality lacking in any way, don't see need for a 4K yet. Portability is a definite plus. I would not recommend moving it often since adjusting image shape and size could be annoying on a less than ideal surface.I definitely recommend this projector.

A Fantastic Projector
So far this projector has exceeded my expectations and the laser UST market is one I would love to see take off. This projector is amazing and the picture is breathtaking. We had a long throw throw projector and changed our media room setup and had to go back to a TV. It just wasn’t the same immersive experience as watching on a giant screen. We purchased this as a solution after a lot of research and the recent price drops in laser projectors. This brings the large screen cinematic experience to your house.A few comments:1. With our other projector (long throw) we were able to project on the wall and get a good picture. The Ultra Short Throw makes wall texturing much more apparent. While the image is ok on a bare wall you really should use a screen.2. We ordered screen samples of white, grey, and specific UST ALR material from the Silver Ticket web site. In all light conditions we actually preferred the white material. We bought one of the 100” white material screens from Silver Ticket and have been pleased. It washes out a little with ambient light but is actually better than the glare we had with the TV set and full light. Depending on your room lighting conditions your preferences may differ.3. Getting the screen “perfect” is a bit more challenging than a long throw projector because of steep projection angle and no lens shift. It is feasible though.4. The fan can be a little noisy when the laser is over 80%. The Cinema setting at 50% makes it quiet and plenty bright for us.5. As other reviewers mentioned the Android OS doesn’t stream Netflix or Amazon Prime out of the box (yet). Not a problem as we have always used a Roku for streaming.Overall, a great projector that delivers the “wow” factor. You can spend two or three times as much for a 4K UST but this delivers a fantastic picture from one of the best projector companies for significantly less.

Good projector, some key missing apps
Excellent picture quality, I'm projecting onto a clean white wall. Positioning is key the lower and further back you are from the projection surface the larger the picture. I projected in excess of 120 inches with little to no loss of quality, projecting at 100 inches currently with a higher and closer placement. Very happy works well in partial daylight, though the darker the room the better the contrast. Default settings are not suitable for anyone, lowered color warmth and increased contrast to find a near tv quality image. Remote is ok, couldn't program my universal ge remote to turn the projector on and off. Built in sound is excellent but utilized optical out to connect to a soundbar/subwoofer setup. Honestly I'm not entirely sure it's substantially improved over the excellent internal audio. I would obviously benefit from the use of a surround reciever which I have in another room and will swap out eventually. After moving 65 and 75 inch tv's from house to house this is a 1000x improvement and the portability makes it all worth it. Built in apps are lacking some key ones. I.e netflix. I bought a higher end roku to plug the gaps and ultimately take over these functions, I did the same for my current android tv as I kept finding a lack of feature parity between roku and android tv os (which this runs). Eventually you'll need to supplement this os anyway if you plan on getting years of use out of the projector, it's analogous to a pc getting out of date with these onboard operating systems. The photo in my review is prior to me making adjustments or using the roku.
