They Stay Fresh and Flavorful
We use these in cooking and eat roasted out of hand. Use up and order more. Have been using from this source for over two years, buying every four or five months - 3 pounder. They arrive fresh and have never gone rancid. They are much more flavorful than any type of roasted peanut we have ever bought in stores - and we don't use salt. Roast for 8-10 minutes in a single layer in a pre-heated 400 degree oven. Tip: add raw or roasted to your chocolate chip oatmeal cookie recipe. Adds another dimension! These roasted peanuts are great in oatmeal, stir fry ... anything. Thanks for a terrific, reliable, well-packaged product!

These are the right ones for peanutbrittle
Had a hard time finding these peanuts. The lady that I got them for was truely pleased to have them. The brittle turned out just like it is supposed to.

First time purchasing raw peanuts. Interesting !!!!!
First time raw peanut purchase so I can't compare these to another brand. However, I will do my best to point out everything I notice. The reason I purchased raw peanuts: With the major problem we have with microplastics in the world especially in food products I wanted to see if I can make my own plastic free peanut butter. #1. These raw peanuts did not have any rancid smell or bugs inside the bag like some people have experienced. #2. These have skins on them and I tried to remove the skins by boiling them for a few minutes and then putting them in cold water. It didn't work as good as I wanted. Some of the skins did come off but the skins don't float to the top of the water so separation is pretty difficult. I will be leaving the skins on for now since after roasting they don't seem to change the taste of the peanuts and as a bonus contain additional nutrients. #3. I roasted them and I would say they came out just ok. If I had to rate them from a 1 to 10 (10 being the best) I would rate them a 7. This was my first time roasting them so temperature and timing might have to be adjusted to improve taste. However, I think there is potential. #4. They seemed a little dry but that might be because I left them in the oven for too long. Also, I dry roasted them so this might just be normal. #5. I haven't tried to make peanut butter yet since I just roasted them today. However, I can already tell from cleaning, roasting, and then blending, it will require a good amount of time and effort just to get one jar of peanut butter. Definitely won't be saving any money or time that is for sure. But at least I will have some plastic free peanut butter in the end. 👌
