I decided to try my hand at being a tiny bit crafty. I wanted to make my crossbody straps removable. It’s an idea that I truly wish had come to me months ago, but hindsight is always 20/20. I found the measurements for my strap to get the correct diameter and came to Amazon. I’ve read some horror stories of very lightweight or even plastic clasps. Luckily these are not that way. They have some weight to them. They seem pretty sturdy, and they’re pretty. They are a perfect match to the existing D-rings on my leather purse. Now I don’t have to attempt to find a replacement strap that probably would never truly match the leather of my bag, and I now have the option to change the strap to match my outfit. Win Win.

Buying these clasps is like a box of chocolate. You aren't really sure what you are going to get, quality wise. These are nice and sturdy and will work well for my project. I will buy them again.

They are very good for shoulder straps. I use a lot of them. Have had no customer complaints.

All came accounted for, all came unbroken I checked all the springs they feel pretty sturdy. The black came a bit dirty but I assume that's some leftover factory coating of some sort didn't bother the function though. I do wish these were more bang for your buck because you only get five each which is an odd number of product. Why couldn't they do at least six each. If I sewn up some purses or bags and used these for the straps I could only make 6 bags with all these, only 2 of each matching hardware theme, if swivel hooks were at both ends and 3 hooks of each color extra left over(which could be used as a closure still so not unusable) or a bag strap with only one swivel hook end if that's how I end up using them.

Product was just as described. They are perfect for the use intended which is fabric / sewn key lanyards. I would buy again.

These are great for keychain projects, I use mine for macrame projects and they hold up nicely.
