These little adapters are great for turning a light bulb outlet into an outlet you can plug a power cord into. Like for instance to be able to plug in some decoration Christmas lighting or something of this kind. I bought these for likely the same reason but I had to get them for next year because there weren't any available before Christmas this year. Mine came now that its over, and what did I get but a set that some slob used for the holidays then returned them. How do I know? Well besides the package being torn while opening, there are little bits of leaves in the package that fell out of the little socket slits.
